  • It wasnt me who had a bridezilla moment this time, it was OH family having, well i guess it was a familzilla moment, they all ganged up on OH and got him convinced having a november wedding wasnt a 'proper' wedding and that it needs to be in the summer. So OH sat me down and said he wanted to move it back so we could have this 'proper' wedding. It was the quickest no I had ever said :rotfl:

I'm still really angry at his family for putting him up to it and causing trouble between us. Im more angry at the back stabbing as they had been all nice and lovely about the plans when I told them about them  I would love to just not invite them now being as they have such a problem with it being a winter wedding.

you have my dream date for a wedding!!! i wanted 5th november! stick to ur guns :D

we have just got engaged and OH wants to wait til 2012 but id quite happily get married 5/11/11 :D

  • I'm a Bridezilla and my confession is - I hate my monster in law! She is determined to ruin our wedding! Her mother broke her hip at the weekend but we don't know about it! Surely the fact that she knows her mother isn't coming to the wedding should be something she tells us!
  • I am a Bridezilla, and my confession is........that the thought of my 2 briedesmaids arranging my henshine, fills me with fear! I would much rather do it myself. My 2 BMS are quite the lovers of tack and tat, and I dont mind a wee bit, but draw the line at inflatable willies, and willie straws and that kind of caper. I also have told them exactly what I want, and been quite strict about it, but I have no idea if they will do what I want, or something different. I will be having panic attacks by the time it gets here!

I had a wee bridezilla moment earlier. All my life I've dreamed about having a vintage car take me to my wedding. The venue we've hired has a long, sweeping tree-lined driveway and it would just be perfect. When we drove up to it the first time, I could see the car in my mind.

We're saving every penny possible for this wedding. I've trimmed the budget to save as much as possible, but didn't anticipate everything being so expensive so the vintage car idea is no longer affordable.

I kind of had a mini-tantrum, not a throwing on the floor beating my fists off the floor tantrum but a "but I waaaant it!!" tantrum until H2B very quietly said that it was killing him not to be able to give me what I want.

So now I feel bad that I've upset him and sad that I wont be able to have my car.

Will someone tell me I'm being stupid please? It's just a car and not important in the grand scheme of things so why am I so upset?

Why not get in touch with local (or national) classic car clubs & see if anyone local to you might be willling to do the job for a lot less money than the hire firms - someone might be generous to do it for £50 & a bottle of tipple!
