Had another Bridezilla moment this morning!
Went to the doctors about a cough I have had for 3 weeks and finally decided it was serious enough to warrant a trip to the docs! For him to say oh you have a chest infection take these tablets, don't drink alcohol, drink lots of strong black coffee and take some time for yourself. Then if it hasn't gone in 6 weeks come back!!!!:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
I couldn't quite believe it! I told him I get married in under 6 weeks! He said that is probably why you look so tired!:mad::mad:
Telling a tired looking bride to be to drink lots of strong black coffee? I am already walking a fine line between human and monster! Strong coffee!!!! I gave it up for the wedding planning stage - have had 3 cups today and am now hooked again! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Have more time to plan now - will be up by 4 tomorrow morning!!!! Who will be joining me?0 -
My little Bridezilla moments seem to be coming quite more often since I said I haven't had one for a while! Two friends of ours can't come to our wedding as they can't afford it (which is fair enough and I understand) but they've booked to go skiing 2 days after we fly... I'm really sulking about it because I wanted them to keep the dates free just in case they came into some money or to stay at home sulking whilst we're away; if they can't have a nice holiday with me during those 2 weeks I don't want them to have a holiday at all! It is official: I am an evil Bridezilla! :eek:Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0

I'm having a bridezilla moment because we have sent out around 30 invitations at the beginning of august, we now have 9 days until the rsvp deadline and we have had 5 rsvps back! I gave the choice of email or postal replies and still no one has bothered. Plus OH has told me i can't give people a gentle nudge about it because that would be rude! I was really looking forward to getting some nice acceptance cards to keep from close family and not one of them have bothered to reply, Not my parents or siblings, OH's parents and siblings, Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles, No one! I am seriously considering not booking them a meal if they don't send me something!0

I only got 6 cards back full stop - 3 of them were for the evening do! Going to be cool just 10 of us! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Not me being Bridezilla - him being Groomzilla- made buttonholes today - made 6 double and 3 single ones - H2B wants to know why I made so many - I only needed 4! So I have given some away! Cost me very little and they look pretty ace too!0 -

And you'd be very justifiedIf they don't rsvp - ie. email/write/call to tell you they are coming, then they can't moan when they are not catered for. It's very rude not to rsvp one way or the other - no reply = no place at the party!

Warm water, lots of honey it in with lemon. Leave the windows open at night because the air is much dryer and won't get to your chest as much. Always works when I have a cough!0 -

I sent Save the dates to everyone incl the IL's and MIL2B says ' we know when it is you don't need to invite us!'
Aye right! Can you imagine if I never sent anything to them and all her family were talking about invites etc! You just can't win lol0 -

I'm a Bridezilla and my latest confession is that I don't want to invite some of the people that OH wants to invite. Specifically they are people from our local pub. Note that description - not 'friends', 'neighbours', 'acquaintances' (sp?) - but from the pub! We only ever see them in the pub, they don't invite us to anything they are doing at home, and, to be perfectly honest, I find them quite loud and don't like one of them in particular when she gets drunk!
OH wants to just invite everyone that we like, no matter how remotely. So we now have a list of nearly 160 people! We are getting wed abroad so I know a lot of people won't come - but it's still going to cost money for the invite!
Grrrrrr.
However, there are people I want to invite that OH doesn't, so I have to compromise. Oh how I hate that word. I think that is the Bridezilla confession I should be making - I don't want to compromise: I want everything my way! I'm not normally like that at all!If you have nothing constructive to say just move along.0
