I am getting married on wednesday and if one more person tries to make me get my hair, nails done, try on my dress or ask me if i am going to get a fake tan my head will explode!!

In hiding from MIL and the rest of the !!!!! until then, I have even called work to cancel holiday and said i WILL work mon and tues- that way they cannot drag me around the trafford center again and again looking for more things that I do not want or need!!!!

Not long then, are you nervous/excited/having your hair done? :D
I always feel a bit insulted if people ask if I'm getting a tan, I get that dove stuff for most xmas' and birthdays

Not nervous or excited about any of it - just HATE being messed with. Tonight all I want to do is watch the footy in peace but have just been told that they need to practice my hair AGAIN and want to put acrilics on my nails(!?!?)
thats what you get when both SIL2B are make up and hair dressers!!

Hubby 2B has told them all to back off so hopefully I will be left alone a bit- they are all mentalists! its like just because I am getting married next week they think all I should care about is my hair and make up!! I couldn't think of anything less important personally!

    Excited about marrying Matt?- yes-
excited about my hair, make up, dress, legs and bikini line?- NO.

I had a BZ moment today, but kept it in my head....

I told my mum that I'd had an idea for the table plan display, as I'd thought of getting a cheap, large-ish mirror and hand-writing all the tables and names on it, as It will reflect all the candles and fairy lights I'm having every where and hopefully look lovely (as long as noone gets their grubby fingerprints all over it!!))

I'm just going to find and buy a decent mirror and that'll be the end of it!

so what's this? you get a mirror and then hand write the names on, in marker or something?? and will that reflect on to wall/table?? confused:rotfl::rotfl:

Yes to the hand writing the names onto the mirror in a nice marker pen, or glass paints or something, but that's it. It won't reflect onto anything, people just read it like they would a normal table plan thing. :)

But then it'll reflect all the candles and fairy lights that'll be everywhere.

I am a bridezilla and my confession is.. I secretly took pictures of a stranger on the train today because I thought her hair was a good style for me for the wedding!! I really hope she didn't realise what I was up to, unfortunately I think the girl sitting next to me might have figured it out. Only a bridezilla'd brain could have made me do something so potentially mortifying.

This threads been too quiet lately, are we all too stressed to post? 14 weeks....EEEEEEKK!

  • My bridezilla rage was used towards my sister yesterday... She's off on a cruise so is missing one of our weddings (we're having two) but she thought it was entirely acceptable to get my mum to dog sit for her so my mum would miss one of our weddings too!

She's seen sense today and is looking into dog sitters, but I really can't believe the cheek of her!

I already have my dress but I keep seeing so many great clothes, they'd really go with the theme, I'm wondering if I can dress the guests too, I mean it is my wedding

Love it!! I would love to do this too-dreading that if my OHs mother actually comes to the wedding that she will absolutely destroy our photos and that she will be the talking point for the wrong reasons :(
