I'm a Bridezilla and my confessions are........
I want the reception venue to paint the outside before our wedding (its cream and one side of it is on a busy main road)
I want to sack my sister as my BM  (related to non-wedding fall out)
I want to remove half of OH's family from the ceremony guest list so I can have some of my aunties, uncles and cousins there
I want OH's dad to fall out with us and not come
and I want the decorations/florist lady to listen what I'm saying.....fresh gerberas, not artificial hydrangeas!!!!
I didn't realise I was having BZ moments until I started shouting gerberas in my sleep!!!

I'm glad it's not just me franny!
OH's dad is a pain in the butt, he's been moaning about the guest list, moaning about the photographer as his friend wanted to do the pics and I "went and got someone else". I don't even know this bloke he wants and we're having someone we know and will be comfortable with and as for "going off" he mentioned it 3 months after we had booked photographer . And he's just generally arrogant and talks down to OH which really annoys me! His mum and step-dad are fantastic though and OH has said he would love to have step-dad as a groomsman alongside his bro as best man but his dad will be upset.
Families eh?Getting hitched! 23/10/10!! :T

Hi I'm junesong.
I'm a Bridezilla and my confessions are
I'm very angry about the series end of Glee because the last song (Somewhere Over the Rainbow by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole) is the song that we will walk down the aisle as husband and wife performed by OH's younger brothers complete with both ukelele ad guitar accompaniment... I asked them to learn it the moment we got engaged on christmas day 2008. Now everyone is going to think we stole it from there...
I'm really not looking forward to the discussion I am going to have when I tell my father that he is not invited to the wedding, especially when his aunt and cousin's family will be...
I secretly want my wedding to be the event in which my mom is in the same room with her mom, sister and brother for the first time since 1996 (not because of feuds, but due to living on separate continents) and as such is looking at a venue that you hire for the weekend so we can spend time as a family but have less room for ceremony guests. But I'm having to explain to OH why his family wouldn't be staying in the venue... To be fair, they all live locally, my family are (hopefully) flying in from Texas, Utah and Germany!
I'm annoyed that I am one of four engageds at work! Although this means lots of wedding talk on lunch breaks!
Luckily I'm not getting married until August 2012 so I have plenty of time to resolve these issues... and maybe develop some new ones. I'll be looking around here for tips and such so much more now that I have an actual date!0 -

I'm still annoyed! I think I turned to OH and said the wedding was cursed due to other similar events and this was the last straw! Apparently I'm either not as original as I thought, or all my ideas are totally amazing!
ETA Look at the date on this http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.html?p=20022865&postcount=26 although I've kind of not settled for when I'm going to use it!0 -
but that song is amazing, please keep listening to it and youll remember why you want it xxI am not bossy I just have better ideas:p0

can you have a bridzilla moment about someone elses wedding?
the only two weddings me and the OH are attending this year are on the same day (tomorrow).
one is an old friend (so i'm going to that one) and the other is a newish friend of both me and OH that we met fairly soon after OH moved over here from glasgow 3 years ago (so OH is going to that one)
we couldn't miss out on either of them but i'm having a bridezilla moment because i want to spend the weekend with my OH (even though we live together) and i really really really want to go to the wedding i'm not able to go to cause i just know it's going to be brilliant and different!
went to chris and raechelle's Roce last night (so much fun) and i'm betting it's going to be a fab and unique wedding cause that's just what the couple are like AND WHICH I'M HAVING TO MISS!
have given instructions to OH to take LOTS of pictures, would love'd to know in advance however if raechelle is going to be going with the traditional wedding dress or the traditional indian wedding sari or a combination of both (ie a red wedding dress)
can't believe i'm missing this one!
also can't believe i'm having a bridezilla moment about someone elses wedding :rotfl:0 -
I can't let go and let any one else do anything, I even want to go suit shopping with OH :rotfl:0
