I am a Bridezilla and my confession is....

Nearly having a melt down here.
Handed out a lot of our invites over the weekend. Most people have been really chuffed to get one and told me they are coming already but will still RSVP. Apart from OH's nan on the way out she said "I will let you know" I know of maybe two reasons as to why she won't come. One being we haven't invited her brother and his wife (I've met him once and he hardly spoke to me) and the other is because she doesn't want to leave the dog.
I am right near livid not coming to your grandsons wedding because of a dog!??!?!

She does have a daughter but said daughter lives a good 300 miles away and is unlikely to ever get married (although has been engaged for many years).
I thought it would have been my own mother I had a problem with but actually she's been pretty good!Married 30/08/14 :heartpuls0 -

There's your answer then. I've been quite lucky with my FMIL - I did involve her very gently at the start and then have sort of decided on things without consulting her, but because I 'let her see the dress' she seems quite happy.
My mum will be fine one minute and then crazy motherzilla the next - she actually almost got a bit arsey when I mentioned not having flowers on the tables "well, it's sort of my wedding too", (she and Dad are paying for most things, although we're trying to buy what we can) and well, we are now having flowers along with my model tall ship centres!

Oh my gosh, this makes me realise quite how lucky I am with my non-interfering-but-always-happy-to-help mum and FMIL!

I am a bridezilla and I don't want my oh's nan there coz she's an embarrassment, I don't want my dad to drink at all on the day so he doesn't embarrass me and I wish oh would stop being so stubborn and choosy about wedding colours and stuff. Oh and I wish he'd stop asking if we can have a tardis at the reception! Xxx my mil however is fantastic :-) xxxDebt free finally :j

TBH She's a miserable old snatch anyway I'd rather she wasn't there. I've already got a spare place so I can invite a couple if she says no

Im a bridezilla and my parents are meeting my oh mum for the first time on saturday (insert suitably freaking out smilie face) my parents have no interest in meeting her and shes been going on about it for a while.
im dreading it. I dont want them to meet as fmil is quite nasty behind peoples back. Reacted to our engagement by crying hystericaly and leaving to cry at her sisters. This was a few years ago but im not looking forward to it at all.
oh an ohs aunts not sure if shes coming because her dad will be there. I dont care, oh doesnt see he that often so isnt hugely bothered either but keeps telling her we would like to see you there. All i can think is that shes taking up 4 places (her husband and 2 kids) which is a lot of money for someone who cant be bothered because she might have to get on with her father for a few hours.
ahhh rant over!0 -
I'm a bridezilla and I'm getting stressed out thinking about a guest list for a wedding 21 months away.. My only ask is why can't life be easy?
Why did my aunts and uncles have to corner me at my engagement party? They totally ruined it for me...094 Sealed pot member! (7) €185 (8) €138 (9) €€250

I need to change my last reply lol! I'm a bridezilla and I wish my fmil would stop, undermining me and stop trying to change the plans we have made. We want a quiet church blessing just the two of us and I've told her this but she's still thinking of ways more people could come! It's an issue that we want to stay at a hotel the night before or even where we're having the reception! Just want to run away and elope atm! XDebt free finally :j
