Isn't it?! Just HAVE to have it. My fiance thinks I'm like a woman posessed, keeps asking where the calm, peaceful woman he wanted to marry has gone lol

The OH has designed and printed off 50 card outers for the Order of Service, had to borrow a friend's printer to print on card. I've just noticed that there's a lower case 's' for "service".

Edit- After feeling Bridezilla humming under the surface last night, I've slept on it and decided to let it go. It will bug me (I'm a grammar freak on official things), but it'd be too much hassle to order more card, and the OH worked hard on getting them done. It'll be fine. I'll just go now and sit and rock in a corner for a while :D

I think I'm a bridezilla!! Out good friend is a professional singer and we had asked her to sing our first dance and she agreed and was really excited about it. Her brother had already booked his wedding the weekend before ours and us the weekend after - no problem, she can do both! She messaged me last night to say they have decided to string their wedding over both weekends and she can no longer come to ours!!! :( That's just rude booking your wedding over 2 weekends and she had already agreed to come to ours but now we are being gazumped. Now I need a plan B.

Not such a good friend then .........or perhaps if she is she could suggest a fellow professional singer who could do the job (preferably at mates rates)

I agree that's it rude to let you down after promising to sing at your wedding, that's just not on, but how is it rude to book your wedding over 2 weekends? It's their Wedding, they can have it over as many weekends as they want if they so desire.

This is a bridezilla thread, I thought we were allowed to complain about outlandish and unreasonable things??
I guess I find it rude that it was all arranged for both weddings and they knew that my wedding was the next weekend and that she had agreed but they have decided to book over 2 weekends now and obv she will be going to her brothers 2 weddings.

Anyways I'm on the hunt for a new singer, a good one :o

I agree with you, that if she's made a commitment to you, then she should honour it....I'd be pretty miffed too. Maybe it was just the way it was worded, that it was rude that the brother had decided to have a 2 weekend wedding! :)

ETA: Hope you find a new singer soon!

Ah Sazzarella I feel for. We had a similar thing happen though not as bad.

One of my OH's "friends" has booked his wedding the day before ours in another county, even though we had already told him the date, because it was such as good deal. I was not happy!!! Just seemed very selfish.

Luckily he didn't have a "part" in the wedding and on the plus side has saved us some money.(we haven't uninvited him he just said he could no longer come as they'll be jetting off on their honeymoon the day of our wedding).
