I would be thrilled someone loved my wedding so much.
A girl I know is getting married before me and has copied several things I am doing, doesn't bother me at.Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....0 -

And people who attended both will see that it's blatently copied
I'd be annoyed though, no question.0 -

I'm not a bride having got married last May, but I'm currently feeling more and more upset as the weeks pass. My brother is getting married this month and this is what they have done to awaken the bridezilla in me....
1 - They are getting married two days before our first wedding anniversary. This wouldn't be so bad if not for all the other items on the list
2 - They have chosen the same venue
3 - They have chosen the same colour scheme
4 - They chose the same vistaprint wedding invitations
5 - She's having the same car
6 - They've chosen the same method of transport for the evening guests
7 - My nephew is wearing the exact same outfit he did for our wedding
8 - My SIL (to be) will be wearing my tiara and veil.
9 - The same table decorations woman is doing their decorations
Is it just me? Or would any of you be upset by this...?
OH. MY. GOSH
!!!!!!????? I think you are WAAAAAAY entitled to be a bridezilla-ish on this one. I know at school we used to be told that "imitation" is a "form of flattery", and yes, you must have had a fab day for them to want to copy it so much, but wow......this would send me absolutely crazy0 -

Aaaaah, I think its sweet that they're recreating your wedding for your anniversary......:rotfl:

1 - They are getting married two days before our first wedding anniversary. This wouldn't be so bad if not for all the other items on the list I'd be slightly annoyed that I'd have to spend my anniversary weekend at someone else's wedding!
2 - They have chosen the same venueNot too bad in itself, especially if it's a popular place
3 - They have chosen the same colour scheme Hmm not sure... But then, how many colours are there?
4 - They chose the same vistaprint wedding invitations That's just pure laziness! Has she no creativity?
5 - She's having the same car Can she not be bothered to check out other cars/companys?
6 - They've chosen the same method of transport for the evening guests I'd let her have that one (unless it's very unique like a London bus!)
7 - My nephew is wearing the exact same outfit he did for our wedding There's MSE and there's tight!
8 - My SIL (to be) will be wearing my tiara and veil. You have control over that... Could you refuse to lend them? Or is she buying the same as yours?
9 - The same table decorations woman is doing their decorations Not too bad... if she doesn't have the same decorations!
Is it just me? Or would any of you be upset by this...?
Put my two-penny's worth in! Been smoke free for 4 years!! :beer:0 -
Clearing out my pockets: I would be annoyed at this too, probably more than annoyed but i have anger issues haha! As others have said though, if i was a guest at both weddings i would probably be sitting at theirs thinking "how sad they had to steal all of your original ideas..." it's not difficult to choose a different colour !!!!!!!0

I just think all your family will notice how unoriginal they've been and it'll remind them what a great time they had at your wedding last year!No longer using this account for new posts from 20130

My BIL (his brother) got married last year and I'm doing my best to make sure we do pretty much everything different!Win £2012 in 2012 £149/£2012

I have to admit that I'm getting married 5 days after my SIL2B's 1st wedding anniversary! She had a whirlwind engagement though, so we actually chose our date first....
As for the rest, that is seriously odd! I think really that they'll come off worst from it; people will just think it strange that they've copied you.Marrying my lovely man on 1st September 2012

I'm a bridezilla and my confession is that I threw a massive strop yesterday and threatened to cancel my hen do altogether because ANOTHER person has dropped out now that the time has come to pay up...
I wouldn't mind, but I asked everyone waaaaay back in October if they would be up for it and if they thought the cost was OK and everyone said yes and that the cost was brilliant. Since then, one girl has spoken to me and said she wouldn't be able to come which is fine, but the others haven't even bothered to tell me themselves, they've let me find out via mutual friends which I think is just rude TBH.
So now it's me, three friends, MIL2B, SIL2B, my mum & my 2 sisters and the cost may go up because I needed a minimum of 10 people. I thought that as I'd invited 20 the minimum number wasn't going to be an issue
Anyhow, woke up this morning and thought f*** 'em all! I'm going, and I'll have a fab time.0
