Ha Ha August may be a little warm for a bollaroe (Hopefully)
It's not like she is going for Jordan style or anything, in fact most people won't be able to tell unless you know her really well. She is doing it for a confidence thing more than anything I am just being bridezilla about the timing and inconvenience for me.0 -

OOOOh, that will be lovely, even if he can;t sing. My OH is brilliant at guitar but I have never once hard him sing. It would be the most romantic thing he could do!
Just tell Brother in law uniforms are sexy...

it will be sweet...i know that. thats the bridezilla part of me thats thinking..cute....BUT YOU CANT SING! haha. bless is wee face!
ive already told my brother that his uniform makes him look so smart and lovely. i do genuinely think that, i was in tears when i first saw him in it, was so proud of him! but still, in an ideal world he'd match everyone else in the wedding party! my OH is amazing at guitar too...i do love a good guitar player! maybe he's saving his voice for your wedding haha. (im of the assumption you are getting married now, just realised i could be totally wrong!) Nataliechildren wetting the bed?

Im a bridezilla because winning a competition to win my dream dress is turning me into a blubbering wreck!
Im normally emotional at this time of year anyway as my dad died 5 days before Christmas, and being 400 miles away from family feels like its 4000 miles during the christmas season! But Ive entered a competition on a Facebook page of the woman who makes my dream wedding dress and Ive been asking friends and family to vote. Im currently about 5th but there have been some lovely comments left on my picture that is turning me into an emotional wreck! Im so bad, I was listening to my processional music last night and sat and cried like a baby!! Oh dear, think my wedding present off H2B will be prozac!!
Ps if anyone would like to vote for me and make me bubble happy tears some more please pm me and I'll send you the link!!xxxIdeas, help and advice always welcome, judgements and assumptions are not!!:happyhearMarrying my Mr Perfect 20130 -
RIGHT, I am here to vent!!!!!!! I'm seriously considering un-inviting BOTH of our mothers!!!!*
After MIL telling her sister that kids aren't invited, even though they are (see earlier rant), my mum is trying to make me have real flowers. I'm really not bothered about them but she sent me a link to the David Austin website and a bouquet on there that was lovely and the name of the rose was the same as my name, and also in our colour scheme. To keep her happy, I emailed them and they wanted £125!!!! I told mum that no way was I spending that on one bouquet that would just die :rotfl: She then told me that she was going to order some real flower buttonholes/corsages for her, my dad and my sisters. I flipped and said I'M SORTING FLOWERS FOR EVERYBODY AT THE CEREMONY, PLEASE JUST STAY OUT OF IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (I did say please, does that make it less Bridezilla?!) We're only having 14 guests so I was going to do matching for everyone so that nobody feels left out/less important...
Then my gran was asking about the running order of the day so I explained we get married at 12 at the reg office, then go to the posh venue for the meal & pictures and then we go to the reception venue and she asked me whether my mum & dad were going to the reception  When I looked confused and said of course they were, why was she asking, she said "Well, how will I get home after the meal" Errrrrrmmmmmm... You don't?! You come to the reception as well?!
FAMILIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Where do I take them for an exchange/refund?!
*only joking. Kind of.0 -
If you have a garden ask youjr mum for the rose as a gift. Then you are giving credit to her idea and thoughtfulness. I think it is perfectly reasonable to shout at her, as long as you said the word 'please', which you did....
Give your grandma the number of a taxi firm and tell her to book one in advance from the evening reception and make it clear you would like her there for a little while?

The reception venue is just over an hour from where my granny lives, but both me and my mum had spoken to her seperately and she'd said how much she was looking forward to it all and that she'd be happy to stay in a hotel for the night... Then she came out with that, and the thing that annoyed me most was that she is expecting my dad to take her home between the meal & the reception, but it's a 60 mile detour and would leave my mum & sisters without transport. Apparently my dad suggested a taxi but she turned her nose up at it - at which point he became a DadZilla and said that if she was going to be awkward she could jolly well not come!! :rotfl: I wouldn't mind so much but OH & I had wanted to go abroad and get married on a beach but she can't travel and had said "I won't class you as being married if I'm not there to see it"
Also she keeps asking whether I'm getting married in white because "it's not really appropriate seeing as you already live together" :rotfl::rotfl:
Hope I can get away with being so blunt when I get to that age :rotfl:0 -
I agree. The comments are unlikely to be flattering!!!!

It might be your wedding that has set this off then, maybe she knew that, as she's going to be there near the centre of attention (you!), she wouldn't feel comfortable and would feel self-conscious all day. The timing's not great but she'll be smiling in all the pictures0 -
I am bridezilla because people keep telling me things I must have or things I can't do. Well it's our wedding and we'll do what we like. If we don't want a limo, we won't have one. Among other things.0
