kiss_me_now9 - I agree, full white is very rude, but most peeps who wear a black dress will accessorise with coloured shoes, jewellery, pashminas, hats etc. Either way, I wouldn't mind if someone wore all black from top to toe, have never seen it before though!

p.s. not engaged yet but planning your wedding is a bit weird imho :rotfl: but each to their own!!!!!! xx

Kiss me now lol I did the same, in fact I used to buy a wedding magazine before I was engaged! certainly came in handy when we did start planning as I knew exactly what I wanted and could source bargains!! And I also want no one in head to toe white or black, I think its rude!! And no men in jeans! Chrissy there are plasters that you can get that are totally clear but really help heal wounds, I cant remember their name but maybe check in boots or superdrug! Big hugs xxx

Me and my mum made all 120 invites for my aunties wedding... took nearly a month! Nightmare!

I'd got it in my head that I wanted to make my own... until I realised how many I'd have to make and how cheap they were on ebay!!!

Another case of inverse snobbery. If you don't scrimp and save every penny then your wedding isn't as good/your love isn't as deep. Crazy isn't it. It's your money spend it how you choose (but obviously get value for money). I would have loved to get our invites printed It would have meant I could have had white writing on red card, and card that is red on one side and white on the other - without having to stick two bits together.

That's exactly it. We tried to make them ourselves, they looked crap, then I saw ones I fell in love with, took them to the printers for a quote - £125. No way! So went to another printers and he is doing our day invites, evening invites, table plan, place cards and order of services for £140. Bargain in my eyes.
Plus I haven't got the time to make them so there to all those people who have turned their nose up at me!
