  • Hi there, if I can give you one rule, it is never to trust the supermarkets! They are the biggest thieves going. They rely on people like you who never check receipts to help boost their profits. Always check what you are buying against the offer on the shelf, because like you say, if the cashier hadn't pointed it out, you wouldn't have noticed.

A tip for future postings tho, please don't write the whole thing in capitals, it just makes it very hard to read!

Those capitals gave me bit headache, your smaller text was more comforting --- p.s never trust Tesco......

Its foolish to trust your supermarket, every time you do a shop its very likely that there's at least 1 mistake on your receipt.

I alway check my receipts, Asda is always doing it, the latest one i bought my daughter 2 pairs of those off the shelf reading glasses 2 for £10 the offer was in big signs all over paid at till with other things and when i was walking out checking receipt found they had charged full price £14 for 2 went back got the £4 back and £2 on my card for being overpriced. Not bad i already have £8 on gift cards from them over pricing.

    1. you should always check your reciept
    2. there is not some mass conspiracy by tesco to fool you mistakes get made
    3. always read the offers carefully to make sure you get the products correct
    4. the guy you mention is there to manage not to eplain offers to you because you cannot read properly

Next can we have fullstops?? Then we have it perfect lol

I wouldn't get so wound up about it personally. I always check my receipt when walking out and if its wrong I go to customer services.

So it was your fault for picking up the one that was not on offer.

I have a tip READ WHAT YOU ARE BUYING.
  • I always check my receipts from any shop but do find Tesco are the worst. Virtually everytime I shop there something that is showing as on offer doesn't go through the till at the correct price. I get mad when the checkout lady them redirects me back to customer service till to get it sorted as it always has a queue. Keep vowing never to shop in Tesco again then see another offer thats just too good to miss.

Please stop shouting, Look at what you pick up and put in your trolley, £200 per week at Tesco seems a bit excessive inless you've got 15 kids to feed.
