Fortunately for me it wasn't full on 'proper' sick! Just clear and not much. They did both go very white as well so I've sent them both back to bed and not heard a peep since, so hopefully they'll sleep it off and feel better when they wake up!

It's also chucking it down and I've got to be at the midwife for 2.30  Hopefully my mum will come and monster watch and I can shuffle to the surgery otherwise it's next tuesday or ringing the hospital to see if i can see mw there one evening! :(

  • Well the lolly didn't really work so I had a bath, and monster woke up with a bang, very strong kicks, so all must be well. I'm just getting a bit nervous as I know two people who have had bad things happen at this stage in pregnancy and because I didn't go this long with ds I'm probably a bit paranoid. Just wish bubs would hurry up, any day now would suit me, I really don't want induced
Busy mum of 3, so if my posts don't make sense or ask a silly question be patient:rotfl:

    Morning all.

Not much work going on here as the company internet connection has died so I can't access the servers to get at my work or emails. Guess I'll just have to have a mooch around the forums til they sort it out :p

First NCT antenatal class is this evening, so that should be interesting.

Raining here too. Pretty much guaranteed really as DH's company are having a BBQ for them all this afternoon :rotfl:

It does make me wonder whether we should get a tumble dryer though. I've a pile of washing already that I've not been able to do as the weather hasn't looked too promising for the last few days and it's only going to get worse when we have baby clothes and nappies to wash too.

    Pigpen love the babies name.

we have yet to choose a name for baby and he will be here in just over 2wks.

got to see the midwife today appointment is at 11.45am which will be nearer 12.30 knowing how slow they are, then going to pop to local shopping centre to see if poundland and tesco have some suitable hangers. (macdonalds may get a little visit as well)

Got antenatal class tonight husband is not impressed its 2 and half hrs 7-9.30pm!! Its the only one we get as a couple I then have to go on thursday morning for 2hrs for a ladies only session on post natal care.

I have not been very good at the whole 'graduating' thing either Pixie, I just seem to be lurking in between both threads :rotfl: and I am 15 weeks today - where on earth did that go??

I am off to hospital tomorrow to have a Glucose Tolerance Test tomorrow, because DD2 was so large I should have had one done after she was born but it never happened, so having 1 tomorrow as a baseline and then another done further on - not sure how much further on though. Not looking forward to the fasting though  I am still feeling fairly nauseous and the only thing that helps is nibbling little and often, got to fast from midnight tonight until about lunch time tomorrow so fully expecting to feel rubbish tomorrow :(, thin I will have a large feed at about 11.30 tonight - ha ha
    DD1 - May 02 8lbs 6oz
    DD2 - June 05 10lbs 6oz

    DD3 - 24th Jan 11 7lbs 9oz

  • Welcome lilac and 2girls, hope your graduation is smooth.

Glad to hear bubs has woken up MLSL.

Got 34 week midwife appointment at 12:30 so will see what position bubs is in as not sure which hard bit is his bum or his head and is very active this morning poking me in the ribs and hips.

lots of MW appointments today! Hope they all go well.

I am determined to get on today (she says whilst on here!). I do need to pop out later but that will be a reward for getting a chunk of work done this morning!

My mobile (which is ancient and rubbish) seems to have completely crashed and died. I need to get a new one, I just hate the hassle of changing etc!

Morning all, hope all the MW appts go well.

Pigpen: lovely name for your little girl!

MLSL: hope things start moving for you soon. I do keep worrying if I don't feel bubs move but last night he/ she was going a bit crazy, kept moving their head and shoulders made me feel quite nauseous! I'm seeing MW Friday so hopefully she can advise me then as I'm sick of having strong pains then stopping.

My OH has banned me from using any products as he think that's stopping it, so no stretch mark oil, clary sage, moisturiser, etc and I'm finding it hard! His family are coming over tomorrow so I'll actually have to get dressed and do something with my hair, I'm enjoying lounging not making any effort lol. Also gota go buy some food and tidy house.
