I really like Queen C's, MERFE. And they have all my notes from my LLETZ, so I'd prefer to stick with there.
It's just a pain having to get there, although it didn't take me too long today in the car.Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -

Try registering for Netmums KK if you haven't already, you'd be surprised what people give away!

Delain: I will try netmums. Do keep looking around but my OH is v fussy with furniture, he will only have really sturdy items as we're had some pretty flimsy stuff collapse in the past so I can see why!

Hi all, I am going to have to get my OH to ban me from the computer!! I have now bought a sofa bed off ebay which is fine because we planned it.
But.... I have just bid and won on an electric fire & fire surround to replace the dodgy gas fire we had. Have emailed hubby to tell him but he hasn't replied yet!:o I thought it was a bargain lol! £51 and its lovely....:o:o:o:o

I agree with Rach you hear good and bad about every hospital. Very early on I researched hospitals across London, as I was being pushed to one in particular by my GP and found that to be honest all London hospitals are pretty much of a muchness, they are all pretty big units, most have appalling stats for interventions/c-secs etc, but also at the cutting edge of new technology/ideas.
In the end I went with the one the GP is affiliated too (St Thomas's) and I've been more than impressed so far. Not that I've completely ruled out doing the birthing at home either, which so far the midwifes are quite happy with too, despite my age.We Made-it-3 on 28/01/11 with birth of our gorgeous DD.0 -
Re hospitals, Mayday seems OK everytime I have been for my scans/booking in appointment. I also like the fact it has a birthing centre within the hospital but think will go on a tour when I have a Saturday free.
Rach I'm enjoying my first day was OK spent most of it on the train from my folks, thankfully didn't have to get the tube home as was baking today (well compared to up north!!). Is frightening how much I've got to do, lets hope bubs isn't early . .Thomas born 28/08/2010 weighing 5lbs and 4ounces, small but perfectly formed :j:j Now weighs 19lbs and 5 ounces

My dad and his gf are coming thurs aft-sat. I'm a bit grumpy about it as I'd prefer just to see my dad on his own, his gf is nice but since she retired I never just see my dad...haven't even seen him at all since christmastime. She wants to go to Hampton court or Kew on Fri for the day..not sure what to do as I'm not gonna be able to walk around much.Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
