well, lovely new pc has crashed 3 times on me in 45 mins! eeek. DH said it did the same the other day, he thinks there's a bad driver or something so he's going to reinstall windows. I'm less than impressed as it cost a lot of money! Having said that, when it worked fine it was fab and much faster and better. So I am now on the laptop, don't want to lose what I'm working on!

Yay!! just spoken to my manager after a diasterous attempt at working yesterday, I am allowed to work from home until i go on leave next Monday due to my SPD. So apart from tying up the loose ends at home with emails, lists and paperwork - i am now off work for 12 AND A HALF MONTHS!! :rotfl:

At the moment im v.happy but worried i will be bored stupid within a week, what do you think? 7 weeks still to go... how are people filling their time at home?

Lovely bump pic Rach :) I really like your top!

I must take a pic of my bump this week, 40 weeks approaching!

Well I've washed and dried up, cleaned kitchen, cleaned bathroom, got Moses basket ready and put into our bedroom, also put the angelcare monitor into there ready to set up. Oh and I made OH a cup of tea in bed :)

My work has phoned 4 times this morning!

Pamper yourself!! take a long bath (unless like I was during last pregnancy you cant fit lol). Paint your nails, read a book, watch a whole series of a programme. Oh and batch bake/cook meals that you want to eat for the first 3 months once baby arrives. It makes life so much easier if it is just a case of reheating/defrosting food from the freezer rather than cooking from scratch with the new arrival.

    HTH :D
    DS1 arrived 22/02/11! 8lb3oz
    DD1 arrived 20/05/09 10lb3oz

    Well said Tickle!

I've been manickly cleaning but in between I've been reading a book I had for Xmas and haven't had time to read, also had lots of naps during the day, watched lots of TV, and most importantly worn pjs allday :)

I'm not batch cooking as my freezer is the size of a shoe box and currently contains just ice lollies :) and is full!

great idea about the batch baking!! will definatly start doing that as hubby is such a bad cook, but could cope with defrosting and reheating. I will visit the library and ask friends to borrow DVD boxsets too. Long bath is not possible as with my SPD i cant get in and out!! Thanks Ticklepenny:)

I plan to spend lots of time in starbucks with a book, do baby prep like washing, some batch cooking (must start running freezer down in preparation, it's rammed)...catching up with a few friends, generally relaxing. I could so happily finish now with just under 8 weeks to go, but I have another 3 weeks after this week to work.

But first I have to finish this darned document... :(
