Hassle you can get RLT in tablet form as well i struggle with 4 cups a day so i have 2 and take 2 tablets. I dont know how effective it is if you only do 1-2 a day all through. What i will say is after following the plan the last time i could certainly tell a difference between that birth and the previous ones it was alot easier and every went back to normal a lot quicker. Edit: if you dont like the taste try a splash of squash or vimto init.

Well i have been having contractions all morning again but it has come to another abrupt halt i'm sure this baby likes tourturing me :-(

Washing is nearly all away although after searching DS1s room i know have another mountain of the stuff to get through why he cant put it in one place instead of shoving it everywhere or hiding it i will never know grrrrr :-)

hassle - thanks, I am just looking forward to the time off to prepare stuff, including my mind!!!

Gems - yeah it's nice mum staying there, I'd love to have her here but at the moment i'm in the spare bed! Also dh prefers his space so this works well. He's not keen on people coming round for too long never mind staying!!! Think he is going to be fiercely protective of our space once baby is here!

I have said to DH that I want us (him!) to sort painting the windowsill in the baby's room this weekend, I will get some blackout linings and then we can put the curtains up. I am getting twitchy about things not being done...I have 8 weeks but I am a worrier and like things done properly! At the moment the old desk is in there, not sure whether to stick it on freecycle or what. Only a cheap one from Ikea but shame to landfill it.

Just had a lovely work phone call from a girl I met a couple of years ago in a previous job, she wants to volunteer to lead walks for me, yay!

Yay!! just spoken to my manager after a diasterous attempt at working yesterday, I am allowed to work from home until i go on leave next Monday due to my SPD. So apart from tying up the loose ends at home with emails, lists and paperwork - i am now off work for 12 AND A HALF MONTHS!! :rotfl:

At the moment im v.happy but worried i will be bored stupid within a week, what do you think? 7 weeks still to go... how are people filling their time at home?

I'm so jealous! I can't wait for my leave to start. Mum thinks I'll be tearing my hair out with boredom...but I hope to have more time for my hobbies: scrapbooking, cross stitch (am doing one for the nursery), and hopefully I can still learn guitar while big and preggers?

Cooking batch meals is a very good idea that someone suggested.

I drank RLT 1st time around and literally 2 pushes and it was all over, I started at 36 weeks i think and she was 6 days late.

cheers for the welcome, I just don't feel pregnant enough to be here despite the sickness, pelvic pain and my jeans getting more and more difficult to do up. My spare tyre seems to be filling out.

Thanks guys on the RLT. Xmas thats a good idea about doing both the tablets and tea. I went for the tea as I am terrible with remembering to take tablets / vitamins. But fitting in 4 cups a day is also gonna be difficult. As for the taste, If I have it strong and think of it as hot squash, then I dont mind drinking it. Its when I think of tea that its not right.

Think I will try and go for 4 a day then, as if I am going to go through the hassle of taking it, I may as well try and get the full benefits.

Rach - time off to prepare your mind? How you gonna do that? I need some help and tips on that one.
I am trying every avoidance tactic I can think of, to not think about the birth (what can go wrong, how much it hurts), or the fact that I will have a baby and dont know what to do with it, or that my life as I know it is over, or that I am gonna have to be responsible for someone other than myself. Ok, scaring myself now!!!!! Best get back to doing some work, so I dont have to think about it! lol
