I've been manickly cleaning but in between I've been reading a book I had for Xmas and haven't had time to read, also had lots of naps during the day, watched lots of TV, and most importantly worn pjs allday
I'm not batch cooking as my freezer is the size of a shoe box and currently contains just ice lolliesand is full!
Im having problems cleaning, i can clean things at waist height or above, but cant bend down on my crutches. Its so frustrating coz im staring to feel that need to nest as well. Love the idea of wearing PJ's all dayBaby No.1 due 27/9/10

I plan to spend lots of time in starbucks with a book, do baby prep like washing, some batch cooking (must start running freezer down in preparation, it's rammed)...catching up with a few friends, generally relaxing. I could so happily finish now with just under 8 weeks to go, but I have another 3 weeks after this week to work.
But first I have to finish this darned document...
i really feel for you Rach, dont think i could have gone on any longer. Hope you get finised what you need to today xBaby No.1 due 27/9/10

Gems I had SPD from 20 weeks last time and made the mistake of sitting on the floor to wrap presents for a friends birthday, and had to wait 2 hours for OH to get home as I couldnt get up lol. It was the most pelvic floor excercise I had done in a while lol.DS1 arrived 22/02/11! 8lb3oz

Gems I am not half as bad as people with bad SPD, I am just more completely unmotivated! I have been asked to write a big document during my time at home which will be used with organisations across the whole borough. So it needs to be good and well researched. It's sadly in something that I don't know much about and doesn't really interest me!
But I only have to go into the office tomorrow, working from home Thurs and off fri, then will be at home 1-2 days for each of the remaining 3 weeks, and of course there's a bank holiday too. I reckon it's 16 working days left, at least 5 of which will be at home! Eeeek, sounds very near now!
My mum is coming to stay for my first couple of non working days, looking forward to her being here. She'll stay with in laws which suits us all as we get the space and they get on well and are only round the corner!!Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -

oh no! I wont be sitting on the floor then, i have enough trouble getting up of the sofa!! I've heard if you have it with 1 pregnancy you are likely to have it again, i know you still quite early but any sign of it yet? Did you find one of those exercise balls helped?Baby No.1 due 27/9/10

So far I have the clicking but no pain (yet). By the time I saw the physio last time I was 34 weeks so didnt find much to help, but sitting on the excercise ball was very comfy
This time round I am doing the excercises daily, so fingers crossed it wont be as bad. Last time they offered me crutches but because I also had carpal tunnel I couldnt use them lol. So I just didnt walk very far or if I had to I just cried and looked pathetic, ho hum.DS1 arrived 22/02/11! 8lb3oz

the document sounds like a pain, but i guess it gives you something to do! Im sure that time will fly by and at least you can work from home for some of it... it is really exciting that its starting to feel nearer after all these months:j
Sound like a brilliant idea your mum staying with in-laws, i wish my mother in law could stay with someone else when she comes to visit!! we have been trying to explain that we wont have room for her to stay when baby arrives as its only a 2 bed house, but she keeps insisting she will be fine on the sofa or a camp bed - dont think i will be able to let a 70 year old stay on a camp bed though!!:oBaby No.1 due 27/9/10

fingers crossed it wont be as bad for you this time then!! I find walking with the crutches really painful on my lower back, but they do make me feel more stable as i had lost my balance a few times and fell over. I got really scared about walking across open spaces like car parks, and used to walk holding the wall, so they are better when im out.Baby No.1 due 27/9/10

Nice bump pic Rach - Have bump envy again - Mine just looks like a lump!
Welcome to the ladies graduating from 12 week thread.
maternity leave - hmm.... not much advise I can give on how to fill your time, as I am not planning on having any time off before flump arrives. My plan is to start maternity leave when I start getting contractions. Though if I have any difficulties before that then of course I would stop working. But then I dont have SPD / long comuting or anything like that, if I had then I am sure I would leave earlier.
I think tickle has it right though.
Just started drinking my RLT - not sure if I like it or not, does it matter if I dont increase the amount I drink over the coming weeks? i.e. will it still be benefitial if I only drink 1 / 2 cups a day or do I need to increase to 4 by the last week?0 -
hassle - I just cheated with the RLT and took the tablets as I hate fruit teas, I dont know whether the increase has any significant effect or not.DS1 arrived 22/02/11! 8lb3oz
