  • Hello everyone

So been a fairly eventful few days... on Monday night (our wedding anniversary) we DTD and then I had the strongest BHs I've ever had, from 7pm to around 3am, every 5-10 minutes, and they were properly painful. We went for a walk after dinner out to try and get them going and I actually had to stop and breathe through them. Also got the diawoowoos with all the contracting. Then I went to bed to see if they would disappear and they carried on for a while but petered out, I was gutted the next day :(

Feel like this baby is never coming. Seem to have been gradually losing my mucus plug (nice) and having loads of BHs and twinges and blah blah. The fact that it's OP doesn't fill me with hope it's going to be here anytime soon either!

Anyway am trying to stay positive and just think that in 2 weeks and a few days time it will DEFINITELY be here :):)

Tinks I really like the bunting, I've been using the sewing machine quite a lot recently and been thinking of doing bunting to sell, I hear people pay quite a lot for it for weddings etc. Are you doing some for your nursery?

Have a good day everyone xxx

    Thanks delain.

I didn't sleep well last night DH got my body pillow out of the loft for me to try not really sure if it helped or not :o

The getting up for a Pee has started again in ernest which does totally drive me mad

I saw the stuff on the news too about weight etc etc.....There is always something. I had an eating disorder when I was last PG with my daughter I was very poolry bunny but she still turned out fine! We are all different that what makes us all the amazing ladies (and gents) we are. ;)
If you can think it........it will happen
  • I had a crap sleep last night, was up about 6 times for the loo for some reason.
OH mentioned the eating for 2 story to me as well but he's a lot more careful about what he says since he "mentioned" that I was eating an awful lot of chocolate a few weeks ago. He said I was being unfair on the baby having so much sugar and I swear I nearly stabbed him. :o:o As if I'm not doing EVERYTHING in my power to make this baby strong and healthy and keep it well. If I want chocolate I'm going to blimmin have some! MEN!

This morning I suggested we DTD at the weekend as it's been weeks and weeks and he didn't even blink he just went "yeah we've nothing else planned":wall:

    I sold my 1st piece for £10.50. It's a start ! ;)

I have also had a couple of messages from people asking if I could make to order for weddings so will see how I go.

I am doing some for the Nursey as well as making the Curtains & cot covers & patchwork quilt etc etc. It will be all made with love by me! :)

    Morning lovely ladies.

My missus had a MW appointment yesterday and they have found protein in her urine, coupled with the fact that shes had some really bad upper abdominal pains and swellings everyone seems to think its pre-eclampsia. Anyone else had experience of this? shes 27 weeks today so we're nearly in the third trimester. If it is pre-e im afraid we may be queue jumping at some point.

    Hope you're all ok :A

Bufger - I don't have any experience but hope all is ok.

I am sitting waiting for someone to turn up for a meeting, she set off a bit late but should be here by now. I feel like I can't really get on with anything else in the meantime!

I've got 2 playmats, the blow up baby nest cover and a soft toy in the washer, it's clanking away..hope nothing comes off!

Apparently I have protein in my wee but my MW doesn't seem to be worrying too much. She just thinks it could be a urine infection, but I don't have any signs of one which is weird. This has been going on since i was 24+3weeks. I wouldn't worry too much til you get some results back. I had to take a wee in a pot with a red lid which I've handed in today so it might be worth getting you OH to do that. :)

  • I love your bunting Tinks, I'm planning on making some for baby's room too (when I unpack my sewing machine).

I had some good crafty news too - some of my designs have been published in this calendar http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sewing-2011-Day-Day-Calendar/dp/0740797077/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1280349576&sr=8-1

In my paltry urine spec I have.. protein, blood, glucose, ketones, leucocytes, nitrates/nitrites whichever it is they look at.. and every other little pretty thing they test for.. I'd not worry it may well subside in a week or so when everything changes again.

Is it worth getting a ball ladies? There's a gym ball in argos at the moment for £4.99. What are the perks of having one?

    Here's the link if you're interested: http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/3020685/Trail/searchtext%3EGYM+BALL.htm
