The only one of my three that has ever been dropped so to speak was the first one i took her up to bed with me to have a nap and not thinking i lay down with her on the outside of the bed instead of in the middle. At some point during the nap she did that jolt thing in her sleep where your body just kind of jumps for no reason and off the edge she went luckily im not the tidiest person and there was a pile of clothes there to break her fall and no lasting damage was done just a few tears i felt so flaming guilty though and ever since then baby goes in the middle of the bed with pillows down the side of them so they cant roll or jump off.

Motm i cant believe you have coped so well with all those little girls on your own you must have the patience of a saint. You must also be so very proud of them and yourself :-)

So there is good cause to be untidy then :) Glad all was okay.

I am patient but strict around certain things. We have an understanding and their worst fear is falling out with me because we've had to become very close. Letting my newish partner in was a big thing for all of us, but especially them. I'm relaxed about 99% of things though and we talk about everything, including taboo things as I feel they learn quicker if nothing is taboo.

I'm immensely proud of them. Myself - i'm just doing what I signed up for when they were conceived. I seek no brownie points

    From who? The girls?

I don't drink :p I used too, but banned ever since their mothers liked the sauce a bit too much.

A kiss on the cheek and hug is enough for me and they still do that in public, even at 17. I guess i'm just so cool :rotfl:

Oh and Pre-e - twins were born early because of this. I have no physical experience naturally, but best wishes to your OH. The pains and swelling may be an indication, but I don't recall anything about protein. I could be wrong though as my memory is shocking.

    Morning lovely ladies.

My missus had a MW appointment yesterday and they have found protein in her urine, coupled with the fact that shes had some really bad upper abdominal pains and swellings everyone seems to think its pre-eclampsia. Anyone else had experience of this? shes 27 weeks today so we're nearly in the third trimester. If it is pre-e im afraid we may be queue jumping at some point.

    Hope you're all ok :A

I hope your missus is ok Buf; I had the same thing, protein in urine and swellings. My consultant suspected pre-e but it turned out ok in the end thankfully, has she also got a high BP? My consultant also told me I had diabeties last appt and that was wrong so I wouldnt worry too much about what they say, make sure she takes it easy and drinks plenty. It could be as these ladies say an infection, as I think protein is a sign of a kidney infection which I did actually have but it cleared itself up without the need for antibiotics.

Tinks: I love you bunting!! Do you do personalised orders?

Nene: I love my gym ball! I sit on it/ bounce/ lay on it/ etc. I find it great for back pain/ pelvis pain. Bouncing really helps and I find laying with my chest on the ball and belly hanging down really takes the stress off my back, I am so glad I have it. I bought mine about 6 years ago from Woolies so technically its a collectors item! Defo would recommend it. And £5 is very cheap :money:if I burst mine from excessive bouncing I will get a replacement from argos!! :D

See I've got an idea like that too to sell on ebay...but mine involves cooking and I don't want to end up with like 20 orders and not be able to do them because I'll be in labour or after them. :( But if I don't do it now I miss the wedding rush :( sooooo annoying. Atleast you can sit at your desk and do it.
