My MW said not to really take any notice of the graph because if you think about it, if the baby is laying with its back to your tummy it'll make the bump bigger. It also depends on what you're eaten, how much you've drunk and things like that.

but apparently DD2 is 5lbs 9oz at the moment according to the chart. At 33 weeks she was "weighing in" at 5lbs 5oz. Which would be looooovely if it was true :D

Kitkat are you doing the extra week at work? According to my new growth chart babs is now 6lb 10oz at 35wks i think bubs was around the same and he was 8lb 13oz born so im expecting about the same :-)

I'm not sure about work next week, I'm tempted as it's a week pay for me and £125 for OH. He will be with me all the time, I don't have to do any work just supervise trainees and it's 5 mins from my birth centre. Still not sure, obviously if I'm unwell or bubs comes I will just leave it!

I feel bit fed up, was having odd signs of something happening and now not a sausage! I want this baby out! Everythings ready! OH even hung the net curtains today, so I can wear my pjs to my hearts content without an audience!

Apparently my Dad did this when he was married to my mum, at a very nosy old lady who always looked in :rotfl::rotfl:

Xmas I have clary sage, it starts off BH but then leads to nothing. Keep sniffing the stuff! I know I'm not due for just over 2 weeks but I've this terrible fear of going massively overdue. Spoke to my mum tonight about her labours, wish I hadn't; me and my sis were too big for her tiny frame that she was v ill and lost lots of blood, had 2 have blood transfusion and was unconscious for days following both c sections. Just hope my birth is ok :(

Quick question for those on babe 3 or more:

How similar are labours, as in is my labour likely to start in the same way and feel the same as for DS? I didn't have a show and although my waters must have broken it was a total non-event and couldn't put my finger on when it actually happened.

Also, is the general pattern of first babe being smallest then they get bigger generally true? DS was 8lb 15oz so mw has advised me not to bother with newborn clothes but the 0-3s look massive!
My first labour started with broken waters followed by mild contractions that gradually got worse... Baby was 8lb 15... (day after due date)

Second labour contractions started early on a Saturday morning then stopped a couple of hours later... Had sex on Sunday morning to help things along and within minutes of finishing contractions started quite strongly every 10mins... Gradually got closer together and stronger... Baby was 9lb 8 (but 9days over so that could account for the extra lb)
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Being on the list makes it seem even more official.

This is going to sound silly, but it's true, I have a fear of babies. I won't even hold one unattended, my own included. It's a fear of dropping more than anything.
