Nice to find someone who is having a home birth - it's still something I would like but OH won't let me. Is this your first baby and first homebirth?

Don't worry, I'm not allowed one either. OH wants to be in hospital where he knows if something goes wrong they can deal with it ther and then and not have to take me to hospital to deal with it.

Plus the fact we live in rented accommodation and he doesn't want to have to clean the mess up afterwards. :D :rotfl:

Did we used to go out?? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::eek:

Only kidding. We all have our moments I'm sure. My OH is so patient with my hormones these days although I'm not sure what he means when he says "you're being no more unreasonable than usual" :o;)

Speaking of hormonal rages, went to see my beautiful extension yesterday which is coming along nicely and nearly finished. The new bathroom looks gorgeous - except one of the builders has done a poo in my nice new toilet :mad::mad::eek::eek::eek:
Now, I know we all have to go but I'm really funny about stuff like that and now I feel it's spoiled. I know that makes no sense, but it has really cheesed me off. OH knows what I'm like and was trying to not let me see it was all skiddy :naughty::(

Maybe....I did my rounds before my children came along :rotfl:

Seriously though, the 2 laziest, ungrateful people you'll meet. The sort that would moan if you gave them a million pounds that it wasn't 2 million. I think them walking out on their kids and never gertting in touch again says it all and their are no special circumstances.

Still, at least my taste in women has improved :p

We blokes need a sense of humour. Laugh or cry, no other option really.

Although the sens of humour doesn't extend to doing a number 2......hang on...how do you know it was the builder? Did he not flush? Is it not plumbed up yet? It could have been your OH shifting blame :rotfl:

No, we're not living there at the moment so it must have been a builder, and he did flush but left "remnants" all over the bowl. And there's no paper at the house so .... urrrrgh!
Mind you, a few years ago I had people put scaffolding up and they went in the bushes in the garden and wiped with their socks, then threw their sock on the lawn. I had 3 dogs at the time and they all rolled in it and I had to bath them.:mad::mad:

The third labour often resembles the first.. the second is usually vastly different.. and quicker than first.

And no they don't necessarily get bigger with each one.. my 3rd would have been my heaviest had they all been born at term.. this one is longest

So anything goes then really? With DS I was expecting contractions to be across the top of my tummy so when I had what felt like back AF pains I just ignored them (dunno why - was 17 days over by this point :rotfl:). This time my BHs have been lower abdo AF-like but every so often my whole bump goes solid - this could easily be what labour feels like this time round then?

Dunno if any of that makes sense actually!

Courgette re sheets go to tesco direct as they have some of the 2 packs at half price (I think about 5 to 6 quid) and they are all on 3 for 2 , so you could pick 6 sheets up for around £12. Or there are some blankets in the 3 for 2 offer. Would post a link but would prob block at work!

this is my third and if it resembles my first, I will be pleased and not so pleased - ds1 came at 36 weeks. This would be good & bad for various reasons.

Good as I really don't want to try BF this time after failing the last time but OH wants me to try it again and I just do not want to! If baby comes at 36 weeks will have to bottle feed :D

but bad as with ds1 he also would not sleep without hugs or through the night until he was nine months old and I was so tired! In the end had to go through letting him cry a little and settling him etc etc before he learned to go off to sleep on his own.

I think im having braxton hicks but i dont know!?
it feels like my whole stomach is getting really hard and tight and it aches really bad when it happens. dont think im in actual labour so it must be braxton hicks, i tell you what its bloody painful when it happens!! especially accompanied with the massive pressure on my foof at the moment!!

budget the only reason im going is beacuse i wanted to do the tour of the delivery suite etc, im soooo nosey, but that isnt until next week. thats really nice of your mw to do that for you hopefully it will help you with your fears! im not needle phobic i can have injections no problem, but when it comes to getting blood taken im a wimp! i dont know what the difference is but i get on like a big baby over it! plus my OH thinks its hilarious when really its not!
