    Evening everyone x

I've had a really good day, not sure when OH got home from work but was really early this morning and he came back to bed. DS didn't get me up till 6:30 which is quite good for him. Then once we were all up and dressed we went to the outlet centre and bought quite a bit actually. Got the kids some great t-shirts for about £2 each. I bought a waterproof coat in a large so it has some extra growing room but hopefully won't completely swamp me after baby is born for £15, needed a new one anyway as my old one was not quite so waterproof anymore and was a really tight fit already because I was a size 12 when I bought it. Also in the next clearance store I managed to find a really nice maternity top marked at £3 but went through the till at £2 and a little black maternity dress for £8 which is gorgeous and now OH has to take me somewhere so I can wear it (I am going to a meal with work I'll wear it for too).

Spent £20 in the Works on books too but for that I got some chuggington books for christmas pressies, a book for me, one for OH, one for each of the kids and 4 books like the reading ones DD has at school so she and DS can both practise over the summer.

Was really disappointing with the baby sections everywhere, there is just not alot of neutral stuff about, it was all boys or girls. Probably for the best as we do have enough clothes unless its a boy. There was a cream snowsuit in the next clearance but it wasn't very nice and I have one already if its a girl so I shall just have to wait for the baby stuff.

Rach I feel for you, I really think it does sound like spd/pgp. I started to get some back pain towards the end of our shopping trip and I know its sciatca, had a couple more episodes when I got home but seems to be starting early this time. Had it with both the others too, I don't think its as bad as spd but its so sudden sometimes it makes me yelp and also can not put weight into one of my legs.

I am already getting it won't be long. I have 20 weeks left, i'm only half way people I've got ages to go. I do think it will go really fast though with summer hols being busy with the kids then getting them back into school routines.

Is everyone getting their highchairs now? I keep thinking about it, then think I'll not be using it though till little one is 7-8 months old probably but then it'll be buying it in the part of maternity leave that is unpaid. I was looking at those ones that also turn into a table and chair has anyone had any experience of these?

    Evening ladies

dreambirdie and rach, you both have lovely bumps. I'm almost 24 weeks and still no bump. Well I was overweight to start with and my pre existing tum is now getting hard but it's still the same size! Oh well as long as bubs is growing ok that's all that matters. I suppose I can still
use the same clothes so not all bad.

Sorry to hear your suffering rach, sounds awful.

Hope everyone is well tonight :)

Hi ladies. Hope everyone's having a good weekend. Finally managed to pick up a Pampers hamper in Tesco yesterday. Certainly doesn't look like its worth the £30 price tag, but not bad for a freebie with the voucher.

We have SIL and BIL coming today and bringing us a moses basket and changing unit :j They are also taking away the mattress from our spare bed. Then we can get the bed frame dismantled and stored, move the desk into the spare room and then the 3rd bedroom/study can begin its transformation into a nursery :D Then next weekend we'll be picking up the cotbed from my bro and SIL, so it's all starting to happen now.

SIL and BIL are also bringing their 2 little girls but will have to put the seats down in the back of their estate car to get the mattress home, so the girls' seats will have to go in DH's car and he'll drive them home - be a nice little practice run for him. Must remind him to lock the electric windows in the back as the 3 year old loves playing with buttons! :rotfl:

Was reading up on the drug my consultant has now prescribed after last week's farce, and apparently I shouldn't have an epidural because of the risk of a blood clot on the brain  I never fancied a needle in my spine anyway, but will definitely not be having one now. So I'll have to read back over the hypnobirthing discussion a few days ago as that's definitely looking like something to try now.
