I took off all my rings at about 16 weeks.. no idea where they are at the moment though.. I have decorated in the bedroom since then so they could be anywhere!

My hands and feet are enormous tonight.. I can barely walk I am so swollen up to my knees at least.. not helped by me having fairly chunky trotters anyway.

Pains are currently at every 15 minutes or so... and baby is NOT happy lol

Have taken rings off now but would really like to keep wearing my wedding ring at least. I have another wedding band that was my mums from her marriage to my dad which is a bit bigger, I could probably wear that if not!

Good time with friend, feel so sad for her. Tried not to talk too much about pregnancy/baby though she did ask. was quite refreshing to talk about politics and other things instead!! Only got in about half an hour ago and have managed a cool shower!

ETA: oooh, and my sainsburys stuff came tonight, had a call from the manager at 7.45am and they brought it around tonight...just shows that if you kick up a fuss it does help! more things ticked off the list, and have rearranged footmuff delivery for friday when I'm home.

cor tinks you look great! my 'bump' is still a bit squishy. but less squishy every time i prod, it seems! however it sticks out about a mile. not particularly subtle

pigpen sorry to hear you're suffering. i lurk so have been reading about how lots of your littlies were here by this stage! hope this one puts in an appearance soon, or at least, your swollen feet calm down.

I must be looking more pregnant than just fat now as people are deffinately getting the courage up to ask. My feet are so sore now they hurt all the time even if I'm just sat down, they hurt the least when I'm walking so OH told me to just not stop walking but the more walking I do the more they hurt when I stop. I want to do stuff over the summer with the kids but have to bare in mind the standing up for work in the evening, not sure how much I'll be able to do in that case. Thought again about taking maternity earlier but there is no way I'd get my coursework done, and I think the end of oct is early enough.

Sammy - Congratualtions on the birth of baby Holly! Someone over on the OS board said you posted a pic of her on here so i came for a nosy lol. Shes beautiful and a lovely name. What does little Ben think of his new sister? Hope you're ok and getting some rest and lots of cuddles.

We have our NHS scan today @ 1.30. :j Seems a bit odd really as we have already had the private scan 3 weeks ago and touch wood all is still well with madam.

I am just wearing my wedding ring at the moment which does feel odd but easier on my finger then wearing my 3 other rings with it

Looks like I will have my daughter at home today she is creamed and spent the evening on the sofa on her pj's.

Did anyone see underage and PG last night on BBC3???

I took my wedding and engagement ring off as soon as I found out, knew I'd have to eventually. Then I put them on the other day and was surprised they went on just as easily as before but by midday I was desparate to get them off and had to wait till evening for my fingers to go back to a normal size. I'll not try them again till after baby is here.

Tinks your bump is really neat, I'm huge in comparison. I think the baby has just pushed all my fat forward, everyone seems shocked when I tell them how much longer I have left.

I'm glad I can still wear my engagement ring. Luckily I just don't swell up. lol. I really need to get OH to take a picture of me so I can compare this birth size to the other birth. Luckily I'm not that different in the ones I've already taken...But I have put on 12.7kgs!! :eek: I just hope the graph of the bump measurement was wrong as if I carry on up the line at the current sizing I'm going to have a 9Lb 9oz baby!! :eek:

Was that the one with the 2 14 year olds? We watched some of that. The silly cow who was refusing to have anything second hand despite having no money, a boyfriend with no money and a mother who also had no money needed a serious wake up call!
