The TT ones are normally on offer in one for the supermarkets.

DD1 had a cup she liked from very young, an Easiflow one? I think that was TT too.

You can get caps from 3 months up for it I think!

That might help him kick bottles, which if he's 10 months shouldn't be far off and will solve your leak problems too!

Crazy T: I didn't go to Next sale but my sis went for me. She bought me 10 sleepsuits, 2 rompers, fleece jacket, and a gorgeous snow suit. All in slightly larger sizes that I haven't got any of. The stuff is gorgeous! She also managed to get a necklace I tried on the other day that was reduced from £12 to £5. Am v pleased with the quality of it all :)

Sorry to hear ur feeling carp Courgette *hugs*

Think I keep getting like 'false' contractions, worse than braxton hicks but not full blown contractions. Been having it for week with v painful back also.
  • Hi ladies,
Just wanted to pop back to say hi and let anyone planning to BF know that Boots currently have the Medela manual 'Harmony' breast pump for £5... I bought one yesterday after my TT CTN one broke when Isobel was 3 weeks old (just seemed to stop having ANY suction) and 6 weeks later I'm STILL waiting for TT to send me a new part for it!! Hmm.
Anyways, I tried the Medela out this am and it is really effective! Very impressed.

Sorry haven't had a chance to read through all the latest.
Me and Isobel are doing great, she's now 14lb (at 9 weeks) from a birthweight of 7lb 13oz so really pleased she,s thriving :D AND sleeping 7 1/2 hr stints then waking for a lil reassurance feed then back down for 3 hrs at nigfht so feel human again!

Labour vibes to all who need them, I do check the Edd list when I can to see who's popped.

    Love to all x

Delain we have every cup under the sun as he wasnt very keen at first i have now managed to get him to take his juice and water drinks from a cup but we are still struggling with his milk. We have found he doesnt like the ones that have the non spill devices he has always been a lazy sucker so have to stick with the freeflow type cups best ones ive found so far are the nuby cups as the top is made from the same material as a bottle teat but is shaped like a cup teat and they dont leak like a standard freeflow type. The Stupid thing is he is quite happy to sit and drink out of a normal cup but at his age hasnt quite grasped that you cant turn it upside down so you have to sit there and hold it for him and he gets frustrated as he wants to do it. We will get there a month in the life of a baby is a long time after all :-).

PP are you ok i know you know what your doing but gaud you worry me sometimes :o

pigpen - does this mean this is it? You did say today would be the most convenient day! Do you need to get to Leeds?

Thanks for the breast pump advice choccy, my friend has an elec one she is probably giving me (had offered it to her sil first but was pretty sure she was going to FF), but for a fiver I will pick one of those up too, won't go amiss! I bet my little local boots won't have one, I'll see if i can get online!

ETA: bummer it's showing out of stock online and as £19.99. Will have to try and get into town later

    morning everyone x

I had avent with my older two and no problems but since I had none of the stuff left I bought some TT ctn ones that were on offer, so gonna go with these this time. Glad I did by the sounds of it the avent ones are not that good anymore. I've just got 4 bottles so still need to get a steriliser.

Pigpen I hope you are OK x

Right best go get ready for work, not looking forward to it. My feet still hurt and I have a cold. I really hope its quiet this week.
