what does the baby feel like ? I keep reading that i should be feeling the baby as i am 21 weeks .... and what i am feeling doesnt feel remotely like what the books describe, instead of butterflies or bubbles i feel like a 'turning' in my tummy .....have scan later today but dont think that there is an issue with bubbs ...

This time mine is more turning I can feel. I have had a couple of proper kicks and can feel it move sometimes when I use my tummy muscles like if I pick up DS.

MV I felt my first DD at about 20 weeks ish, DS ar 16 weeks and was the proper butterflies but this one is much harder to feel and I rarely notice it then its over and that is it for the day. It is getting more regular like I feel a movement once ish a day now but probably felt the first kick at 17 weeks and I actually though someone had snuck up on me and poked me in tummy and nearly jumped off the sofa, only had 2 kicks like that its mostly very light movements that would be so easy to miss when you are busy. I'm 18+5 now so expecting it to start getting more noticable soon.

Any advice Ladies in buying from a friend? And making an offer on the pram (if I love it ;))

She has it on E Bay no reserve http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Mamas-and-Papas-Pliko-Pramette-Afternoon-Tea-/250661412825?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_Baby_BabyTravel_Pushchairs_GL&hash=item3a5c959fd9

She has said in her text looking for £125 but open to offers. I always feel awkard when dealing with people you know when it comes to matters of money etc etc.

    Any tips/ Advice????

    Thanks

Take into consideration a grotty toddler in that colour pushchair before making a concrete decision.. How often would you have to wash the covers? Is that REALLY what you want to be doing every weekend?

I'd offer £90.. (£125 minus the £35 postage she has up)

TBH I'd not have anything other than black.. or a very dark colour that didn't need washing every 10 minutes! I've been eyeing up the black and red ones on ebay.. but I will make do with the one I have and my bertini for this one!

tinkwings, it's a difficult one. How good a friend is she? we've been lucky as all the friends who have offered stuff haven't wanted anything for it. My feeling is she will probably take an offer from you as it's much less hassle than sending it etc! I think if it's in good condition and you def want it when you see it I'd offer £100 for the lot. If she wants more she can take the chance with ebay!

Nightmare journey into work this morning, took me almost 2 hours! Struggling a bit to focus but have caught up on most emails etc. I have a meeting at 1.30 and then am going to leave at 3 to get my bloods done. DH is working late so might get myself some cheeky fish and chips for dinner :D

Feel a bit like a zombie and pg brain is doing overtime..I got back to find that before I left I'd posted out loads of leaflets for a walk that takes place every Tuesday but had put Wednesday on them all!!

Is it not going to be awkward to buy now she has listed it on Ebay and has bids. To cover herself, maybe she should of stated I reserve the right to remove this listing as pram advertised elsewhere.

It all depends on what you want tink, remember you will be using it every day for a good long while so it's important that you like it!
