what does the baby feel like ? I keep reading that i should be feeling the baby as i am 21 weeks .... and what i am feeling doesnt feel remotely like what the books describe, instead of butterflies or bubbles i feel like a 'turning' in my tummy .....have scan later today but dont think that there is an issue with bubbs ...

For me some times it's turning and makes me feel queasy sometimes def a kick. My daughter felt the kick on Saturday she was really chuffed. DH has still not felt it.

DD was probably about 16 weeks, this one I would say nearer 12/13

I think I was about 18/19 weeks the first time round before I felt DD1 move... And even then it was few and far between and I was never sure if it really was the baby moving...

2nd time round was from about 12 weeks and I felt the baby turning over... My tiny bump used to go hard when she had her back pushed out... I think I was more in tune to how it feels to have a baby move inside you though...

I'm pretty sure I've felt this one move... But I'm only 8 weeks... So I could just be psychotic...

Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Everyone's different and it depends where your placenta is. I have an anterior placenta, felt first kick at 19 weeks, and didn't feel regular movement till 21/22 weeks.

Before then I felt a sort of 'rumbling' in my tummy which I'm not sure was the baby or not!

I have been feeling things for about the last 4 weeks. But second baby so you are meant to notice earlier.

I think the average is 20/21 weeks x

Hi everyone, am back from my holiday. I had a nice time. Our dog Ryder was very happy to see us when we picked him up yesterday. Have been catching up with all the posts. I have my first driving lesson tomorrow afternoon. It is raining here, wish it would stop and be warm again.

Any advice Ladies in buying from a friend? And making an offer on the pram (if I love it ;))

She has it on E Bay no reserve http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Mamas-and-Papas-Pliko-Pramette-Afternoon-Tea-/250661412825?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_Baby_BabyTravel_Pushchairs_GL&hash=item3a5c959fd9

She has said in her text looking for £125 but open to offers. I always feel awkard when dealing with people you know when it comes to matters of money etc etc.

    Any tips/ Advice????

    Thanks
