  • Hiya ladies, just popping over from the Parent Thread where we hope to see you all in due course.

Was having a sort out today and came across a book called 'top tips from the baby whisperer' it is only small, it came free with a magazine when I was pregnant but it is quite a good read for a first timer.

Free to a good home, pm me your name and address and I will stick it in the post.

Crazytinks and any other hayfever sufferers- My OH uses this when his hayfever is beyond tablet control. And as far as I am aware it is suitable for use whilst pregnant!

Just a question - is anyone graciously accepting 2nd hand baby clothes? I've been given some fab stuff by girls at hubbie's work - going to spend my £190 HIP on some nice new stuff proably jumpers and a snowsuit!
I've got some 2nd hand baby clothes (couple of ebay bundles) but i've also bought basics stuff new, but pretty much all other stuff I have for the baby has been either given or bought 2nd hand from netmums. For me (and it's totally personal) I'd rather save the money for when the baby is bigger!

tinkwings - what does the whole thing include? I do like those pilkos!

I have no problems with second hand stuff clothes, cot, pram etc all second hand all in good condition. Matress for cot and crib are new though.

Have brought few new bits of clothes but otherwise good quality second hand items are fine by us.

My daughter was very tempted to buy this pramette when she was pregnant last time, I think Katie Price had it for Princess as well. Luckily she did n't as she had another boy. Pregnant again, due Christmas week hoping I may get the chance to buy pink this time. Someone has told her if you have 2 boys by the same father there is an 80% chance she will have another boy. They are both little treasures so what will be will be and she is not particularly bothered either way which is great.
