    oh yeah forgot about that...!

the midwife came and brought all the home birth stuff yesterday. Now I have a fridge full of drugs and a canister of entonox in my lounge... as well as a box full of such delights as episiotomy scissors....

Another one who gets the kit sent them, around here the midwives have to carry it all around with them. It was like they were moving in when they turned up for the last one 3 huge boxes and 3 cannisters of gas & air worst of all is we have an upside down house so they had to cart it all upstairs to the living room :-(

  • Morning/Afternoon all.

I keep having to log on to do the daily Sammy check! Sorry nothing is happening at the min for you hun, really sending alot of positive vibes your way.

Still haven't heard anything from stroppy midwife/MH consultant from the hospital so in a bit of limbo at the min about what I'm supposed to be doing!

Last I heard before all of the stuff kicked off last week was that I was to be having a HB house check on 22 July. I can only assume that if i don't hear anything to the contrary this will be going ahead then?

I hope so as I have no more appointments scheduled! If it was that urgent i thought I would have heard by now being a week and a half later!

    Boo!

Anyways, I'm feeling alot better today. Slept relatively well, except for little canine madam deciding she couldn't possibly go the entire night without needing the toilet (know how she feels!) so needed to get up at 3 and let her out.

Feeling all tight and horrible though this morning like I have no room left at all. I have no idea how I'm supposed to find another 6 1/2 weeks of room for him to grow!

Hope everyones ok this morning xx

Sending loads of labour vibes to Sammy!

I am back in work today and feel really fed up :( I went to get some water from the machine and there was no cups, the manager said to me 'oh sorry as you've been off 2 days no one knew where to get these from' everyone knows where they come from, there is a shop the floor below us! Theyre all just to damn lazy! Then the bloke I shared the office with was really moody with me and kept going 'your so moody these days' when I hadnt even said anything, it was him who lost his rag. I will be so glad when I am on leave as I have had enough of lazy, moody men here!

Really felt like the babys head was engaging last night, I had a pushing low/ painful sensation that meant I couldnt bend. I also had to keep getting up for the loo, which was rather hard without being able to bend!

    **mahoosive labour vibes for sammy**

just back from hosptial everything went well. got my bloods done and i was very good i didnt cry or anything this time :j
apparently baby is 3lbs 5 oz so far which midwfie said is spot on. altough when they measured babys head on the screen it said EDD 16th sept?? im not due til 25th but midwife didnt mention anything about this. then she went on to say i had a beautiful cord?! didnt know an umbilical could be beautiful but whatever lol.

felt really sorry for a young girl who was waiting in the queue to go in for her 12 wk booking scan. midwife brought her into the room then came out and got the consultant and brought him in. i cant stop thinking about her i hope everything was ok, and maybe it was a multiple birth or something and thats why they needed him in.

With my twins they called a consultant into my scan. To be fair they had lost me in the system till I was 20 weeks and anything could have gone wrong!

I'm sure she is fine :D
