Congratulations CAFC.
Ladies sorry i haven't really had time to sort of fit in but i have a problem. this bubba was a surprise. total and utter shock. as a result I have no idea how far i am but guessing between 5 and 10 weeks. Last week i had pain in my side so I trotted off to Dr who said I had a kidney infection and gave me antibiotics. he also took a sample to see what infection it was well today i am still feeling poop anti antibiotics nearly done but with pukes no idea how much i have ingested, I expected another dose but Dr says the wee sample was clear, no bugs. She has now arranged for me to have a scan at my local EPU tomorrow to rule out ectopic pregnancy or the possibility of a cyst causing the pain.

CAFC mega huge enormous CONGRATULATIONS on Landen finally making his entrance!!! Hope you guys are all getting on and he is just a bit zonked from being born under a GA.
Smartie, you're not the only one who feels a bit weird about being pregnant. I was mortified just buying the pregnancy test, which is ridiculous cos I'm a full grown women, and we'd both made the decision to reproduce.
I wouldn't worry about what other people think regarding age gaps and such. Some people like to assume that certain babies are somehow 'accidents', whether it's having two of the same gender, close together or far apart - as long as you're happy with what you've got, let people think what they want.

CAFC- Yay! Huge congrats to you and welcome to the world Landen! Hope the feeding settles down a bit, it is always tough at first but I found after 2 weeks it was just second nature and was soooo much easier.
Smartie- shame your feeling down. I know it sounds a bit hippy dippy but a family member had loads of success beating her depression/ anxiety attacks without any medication, using just relaxation CD's. She would just use the CD's morning and night to help keep herself calm, and then use the breathing exercises when she was feeling low/ feeling panicky etc. Might be worth looking into as it obviously is something you can do in pregnancy too. Hope you find something that helps you feel better though, pregnancy can be miserable even without the added depression so make sure you have a good moan to us ladies to make you feel better!
Lilacpixie- thinking of you for tomorrow then, I'm sure all will be fine, best to just get checked out to make sure all is progressing as it should be.0 -
bbm I have seen your posts on the other thread, I hope all is well for you, and I can't imagine how you must be feeling
Please update us when you find out, we'll be here if you need us x
Lilc Pixie, Good luck, I hope all is OK and it's just tummy trouble.
CAFC: Well done!
To the people embarrassed bout being pregnant, I think it's weird that people think I planned this oneI suppose my being so young at the time it was pretty obvious that the older ones were surprises :rotfl:
I do get a lot of people that seem to think I was hoping for a boy! Sometimes they say 'that's a shame' when I tell them it's a girl again :wall: I just tell them that I'm perfectly happy and that at least I won't have to pretend that ben10 is really amazing in 4 years time :rotfl:Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

Ladies, can you just check for me that this is an ace deal. This is a copy of the emails I've been sent on netmums:
Hi xxx, I have some reusable nappies. They are the Totsbots bamboozle ones that have a wrap rather than pants. I have 15 newborn ones with velcro fastening, 6 small with poppers so you can make them bigger and 7 larger ones with poppers. I also have 7 motherease ones with poppers. I have a few wraps to go with them but you may need some of the smaller ones. You can buy them online. Cost me around £250 to buy them all but would accept £50 or a reasonable offer. The nappies are shaped like disposable ones so don't cut into baby. Hope to hear from you soon.
Don't know why I need to ask whether £50 for 35 reusable nappies is good or not, but you never know! I've also checked with our local council and I will be eligible for their £30 cashback even if I buy from a private seller so £20 for 35 nappies - yay! :money:Updating soon...0 -
congrats to CAFC.
hope things are ok tomorrow lilac pixie and babyboys mommy.
had a bit of a fright today myself as doctors left a message asking me to call about the blood tests i had on thursday, then asked me to come in later today to see doctor about results. Got there it seems my white blood cell count is still really high but dr didnt seem too concerned, didnt think i should have been called in, have midwife app tomorrow morning anyway so will get everything checked out!:j0
