Ooooh, congratulations CAFC :j Ace name too
Smartie, sorry you're feeling crap. I've suffered depression in the past too but I'm sorry this stupid heat and preggo brain mean I can't think of a sngle constructive thing to say :o Not belittling depression in any way, but are you covering the bases - as in are you eating properly, getting enough sleep, drinking enough, that kind of thing? I know depression is totally different from just feeling glum but every little helps as someone or other says.
Argh!!!! Can't remember anything I was gonna say :eek:
This is depression for sure sadly. I'm not getting enough sleep... but haven't done for about 7 years now (but thats another story:p) which doesn't help. DH is on the sofa tonight so I can try and get some sleep in bed:j Bedroom is so blimin hot though:mad:
Haha to pregnancy brain:p:p:p I'm always forgetting everything:o:rotfl:BLOWINGBUBBLES:kisses2: SMARTIE120 -

Hi ladies
Gonna have a read back in a mo but before I do - anyone got any experience of Totsbots? Been offered what I think is a super good deal for loads of them on mumsnet but just thought I'd double check what people thought on here first. I've got a couple upstairs that I was given and to be honest I'm not sure why 'stuff' wouldn't soak through the outers as there's no plastic on them?
You use a wrap with them!! That stops 'stuff' soaking through!!
And totsbots are wonderful.. accept them anyway and if you don't want them you can send them to me.. I do!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Mine has just engaged at 31 weeks too.. and even if you delivered now baby would be fine anyway so I'd not be worried in the least if I were you.. mine were about 4.5-5.5lb at 34 weeks if that helps any.. and we were home in a day or 3.
DS2 engaged at 16/17 weeks and hung on until 32 weeks.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Yummymummy if your worried get yourself checked out by the midwife. Bubs can drift in and out of your pelvis at anytime until the birth so it could be perfectly normal but with your history its probably best to check. Loads of discharge is perfectly normal i feel like an icky sticky factory at the moment (sorry if thats TMI) only time to worry is if it gets irritating or smelly.
Congratulations Cafc lovely name Hope everything settles down for you with the feeding :-) x:jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0 -
Isabella oliver have a sale on this week 51% off everything today then the % gets less as week goes on. Sadly still overpriced for me but if someone was thinking of treating themselves their clothes are to die for. I love the wrap around dress but its still £44 at 51% off so cant warrant that at the moment.0

sorry long post as there has been loads since I was on here last at lunchtime!!
I am working from home in the morning :T boss said 'as long as you have work to do'...erm, have you seen my to do list!? sir monster def speak to them about it, I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders knowing it can be done!
smartie - big hugs, I've been worried about you as noticed you were missing. We have no boys name either and despite looking lots can't find one yet!
courgette- i've got a load of tots bots - my friend loved them!Just a thought Kitkat.. many churches offer a 'thanksgiving' service rather than the actual baptism..
Don't want this to become a big debate as it could get a bit divisive, I think it's really each to their own and you'll find (hopefully) that your local minister or vicar will talk through the options with you!
I can never decide what I think or actually would want, despite being part of a church and having previously worked in one...that's what too many years of theology at uni does for you! :rotfl:I'd like to have my brother for the girls, well all of them really but as I said, OH is quite set on who he wants for little monster, so she may end up with two sets of Godparents
Are you allowed to have two sets of Godparents?!
It is hypocritical of adults to make these vows saying they will teach the child when they have no intention of doing so... which is why I am baffled by parents who go to church saying they won't be baptising their children.. why not? You will be teaching your child about God and your own faith which is all you promise to do at their baptism... you don't promise they will go to church forever more.. just that you will teach them and in some cases allow them to be part of the church community.
For me the godparents are the key bit, my godmother is fab and I love being a godmother...but dh has no godparents (despite being a minister's son!) so doesn't see this as important!Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
One other thing to add re depression, I had been feeling low on energy and very breathless at 28 weeks bloods showed low iron, been taking 2 spatone a day and I feel so much better which has helped lift my mood, every little helps !!Busy mum of 3, so if my posts don't make sense or ask a silly question be patient:rotfl:0
