To the ladies who asked (xmas and rach I think sorry if I've remembered wrong, my brain is non existent today!) here is a link to the site I looked at for the measurements though if you googl there are more, but most are way more complex!
http://www.make-baby-stuff.com/make-a-baby-sling.html
Bufger- that must have been very scary, but try not to worry too much if hospital aren't concerned. If any less movement or mrs Bufger gets concerned at all whip her straight back in and demand a scan to make sure and put your minds at ease. I have heard of people whose hind waters have gone rather than their full waters so it isn't a risk to baby iyswim. Maybe it has happened to someone on here who can tell you more??
Welcome to newbies, labour vibes for the ladies in bold (and me!) I'm off to MW now so be back on later.

Fernlie, that's an awesome site isn't it? If my brain had been working this morning I was going to recommend it for the sling, the baby clothes are pretty funky too.
Delain, yay for magic jeans!
Hi newbies!!
Bufger, at the risk of sounding very grim, gross and disgusting, could Mrs Bufger have been perhaps more 'moist' than usual? I've experienced large gushes sometimes (sorry, way TMI) which are a bit like what you described. I hope she's ok - bet you both can't wait for the scan tomorrow. Are you finding out the flavour?

eviesmummy, I've adjusted your date and added a little blue sign, so I have a date buddy now, I lknow I'll be late, I'm late for everything
I love my 3d Pram and wouln't swap although I'm aware someone might find it heavy and it only just fits in my car. I would love a silver cross coach built one as well, I live near a park, so that would be my pram !!!!!!, lol.
Bufger, sorry didn't say I hope everything is all right with your OH and baby, just keep an eye out for any changes.
KitKat, you need to tell you OH, he's being very naughty and that's coming from me who is normally very lazy with housework, my hubby normally does most, he's loving the fact i keep getting up early and cleaning.
CAFC is usually on more, hope everythings ok with her.0 -
Bufger hope things are ok.
KitKat def agree with others as you need to sit down with him, hope you get your chicken for dinner!! Re the silver cross I went to mothercare today to have a look at it as my cousin has this one but to be honest I found it a bit heavy/bulky for me (as I am quite a short thing!!) and some reviews on website said it was quite difficult to fold down, def not a one handed job. Have decided to go with the streety system as is lightweight, got car seat, easy to fold down and tiny when down too. If you are interested in the silver cross I have a code for £20 off at mothercare when spend over £250 on pushchairs (pm me!).
Rach they had the XT at that mothercare in purley way but at normal price!!
Will have to go to mothercare again probably in town tomorrow as want to swap some clothes over to a bigger size and the moses matress I got is too big!!Thomas born 28/08/2010 weighing 5lbs and 4ounces, small but perfectly formed :j:j Now weighs 19lbs and 5 ounces
