Hello folks. Had a bit of drama early this morning!!! (Probably TMI)

We woke up to find a very large wet patch on the bed. At first OH thought she'd wet herself and was really embarrassed but when she got up she was still losing water and it was clear/milky coloured and definately not wee! Got to the hospital and they took heart rate which was 104 with a temp of 36.6 and then they did an examination.

They found the mucus plug was intact with no visable gaps and they've now sent us home saying that she may have just wet herself (it did not smell like wee!). Baby seems to still be active and is kicking and we have our 20 week scan on Thursday anyway but im still concerned! Has anyone heard of any other large quantity of clear discharge during pregnancy? i have no idea how much fluid their would be if her waters were broken at this stage in pregnancy but there was certainly a couple of pints there and im still not convinced as they couldnt actually explain what it was. She also went for a wee as soon as she woke up which was a normal colour as was the one after that at the hospital and during her sample (apparently - i dont look!)

My OH seems ok with it, i havent expressed this concern to her because she panics and gets really upset as soon as i look worried or unsure of something! (its a weird thing - because im always so relaxed if she see's me getting serious she realises its serious and worries etc)

    Hi everybody

Just back from midwife , have had to have bloods taken because the red tummy rash which looks like PUPPS could also possibly be liver related as I have slightly itchy hands and feet now too.Have to wait until tomorrow for results and mention it at pre op in the morning.

Kitkat-I like the baby k buggy and you're right it is more suited for a little girl.I don't like the clothing and blankets though and the moses basket is bigger than normal.I am having the changing mat to keep at my mums though as I really like it and mum has kindly said she will buy it for me.

PRAM advice please-I was thinking of a quinny and the maxi cosy car seat to clip on for baby but I really love the silvercross 3d complete pram system too.Has anybody tried and tested them and which is better for a tiny petite person like me?

Labour vibes for those that need x

Bufger i hope everything is ok. Ive never had it myself if it happens again then i would take a sample of the fluid with you a good midwife can tell instantly if its waters or wee from the smell. If her plug is still intact i shouldnt worry to much i am surprised they didnt scan her there and then though. Keep an eye on the movements of the baby and if anything changes go straight back.

bufger I have no advice just wanted to say I hope everything is OK now, if the hospital are not concerned hopefully it's just an unexplained thing x

Labour vibes for all those that need them x

I've been having alot of pain this afternoon. Not crampy I don't know how to explain it but I do think it might be trapped wind. I hope it sorts itself out before work, it was really painful walking to pick the boy up from preschool.
  • Hi, can I join in, I admit I have been lurking for a while.

My second is due on December 12th, I already have a 4 year old.

Does anyone have experience of ovarian cysts during pregnancy? I have a 12.5cm haemorraggic cyst and it is making me a little nervous. The consultant and midwives do not seem condcerned, but I can't help it! Hormones!!

Morning girlies... hope everyone is doing great and vibes to anyone thats needs them...

Was just ondering if any current mothers (or new) has used this http://www.elc.co.uk/toy/blossom-farm-sit-me-up-cosy/

My friend had this for his LO and he just looked so comfortable in it- the pic shows how it can be used when the baba can sit up but before that you can set the baby on like a flower cushion and it just looks so snuggly.

Its nearly £40 but she said her wee one loved it and she used this instead of a bouncer...

Anyone got any views on it?

    xx

I have been given one of these by a friend who's daughter had grown out of it she said it was amazing. and had lots of uses. :)
If you can think it........it will happen

I'm 35th from the top of the list, which i know may seem a way off to a few, but i remember when i was 8th from the bottom, when did that happen
Also I have the silvercross 3d, it is quite bulky and probably heavier, but before i was even pregnant i wanted it, although i didn't get it brand new, i got the vintage colour from ebay for £100 with a few accessories. Didn't get the car seat to go with it though as I didn't like it, so it won't be a proper travel system.
Labour vibes to those who want them!

Thanks Convent, Xmas and Rach :) I will try speak to him tonight. If I say too much he tells me I am nagging and I hate that  prob is he keeps telling me he is going to do stuff, and then I get home and he is out with mates, or on computer, asleep, etc and whatever he promised to do, isn't done. I bought a fresh chicken last night and asked him to shove it in oven at 3pm, I wander whether he will do it :p if not, we haven't got anything for dinner!

Katarina; I have heard those sit up things are good, I havent got one myself but if we had more space I probably would have got one, I imagine as the baby grows they find it alot of fun to play with!!!

Bufger: have to be honest I have never heard of this, I hope everything is ok. At least you have a scan coming up, but if baby is still active that is a good sign. It could just be a bit of excess fluid from somewhere!

Does anyone have any experience of the Silvercross 3D pram? Its on offer with £50 off at Mothercare. This is the one I have been looking at... I am just not sure!!!
