    Labour vibes all round:)

Had a busy day yesterday and was exhausted by the time we got home, I only just finished unpacking the shopping this morning. Luckily we had eaten while we were out so I didn't have to worry about that. It is eerily quiet in here, older two back to school today and LO asleep in the buggy:)

I have just dropped my script into the chemist for the Vit K for baby and one for Pethadine, although I am so tempted not to actually collect that one, seeing as I didn't even want it in the first place!!!

    Lovely sunny day here:D

I have posted this in discounts and vouchers, but thought I post these here as well if anyone is thinking about purchasing this type of monitor

I have bought the angelcare sensor pad and monitor system, it arrived this week and seems pretty good.

These codes were passed onto me by someone who went to a baby show, but 401 certainly worked for me.

Here are codes for the different types of angelcare monitor.

Its for the AC401 movement and sound baby monitor - £65 instead of £79.99, just enter show401 at the checkout. This includes free delivery too, but it doesnt show the free delivery until the payment page.

Or there is the AC300 Movement only monitor - £50 instead of £59.99, enter show300 at the checkout.

There is the AC420 Sound only monitor - £40 instead of £49.99, enter show420 at the checkout.

All these can be seen and purchased with the codes from. http://angelcare-uk.co.uk/ go to the 3rd bar across at the top, called webshop (if I recall), then click and drag the item you want into the white box.

I certainly found it cheaper than bidding on ebay!!!

Thanks Rach for asking how docs went last night... it's only cos you don't want me to disappear and not find you a bargain pushchair!;):p:D

Well... my platelet count is HIGH so they're going to keep an eye on it. Got bloods with midwife next week and doc said she'll phone my Crohns consultant if it gets higher. I don't know what will happen then:( I have to be aware of DVT now as well. Don't think I'll be getting my "stay at home as long as poss pop to hospital to have bubs then back home again" birth now.

    Lower platelet count vibes please:)

Someone cheer me up and have baby today please!!;):D

Poor salesshopper if there is one thing i have learnt from this thread its never go in the bath until you are well established in labour. Huge labour vibes for you hope it all kicks off again :-)

Labour vibes to those that need them :)

Rach will look out for the XT, seems it is reduced to £165 on mothercare website at mo so lets hope it is the same in the store. If it isn't there I will ask if it is available in any other stores nearby. Can I ask those that have this as will give it a go myself, can it be converted at all to a travel system?? And coffee (decaf of course :)) sounds good at 10:30 ish look forward to it!!

(((hugs))) to those that had a carp night sleep, I'm glad I'm off work as I can have a lie in as I am struggling to sleep and always wake up in the night. Anyway worked out I only have 6 weeks of working when I go back which is a bit  but also :j:j

I have the XT and it can't be converted to travel system. It is just a pushchair but does lie flat for newborn.

£165... not as good as my bargain Rach but there are voucher codes for online and it is free delivery;) I'll see how much I can get it down to!

XT's are lovely - I had one with dd and its such a lovely buggy. The one I had couldn't be converted to a travel system - not sure if they have changed them in the last 5 years???

I have an exam today - supposed to be revising but it's not happening lol.

I am back at work on Monday and only have 3.5 weeks left before I finish .

    Hi everyone

Well had a show last night irregular contractions all night until I gave up on sleep at 4am. Called my mum over to look after DD and take her to school called MIL gave her keys and instructed to pick up DD after school. Contractions getting worse went in bath and guess what THEY'VE STOPPED not fair (stamps feets and flounces off in huff)

    i feel for you salesshopper.

I did exactly the same last night - no show or waters - was having an urge to go to the toilet, then backache got worse, then period cramps, so figured I'd leave them - they got more regular so went in the shower to soothe them and they stopped.:mad::mad: tummy is very tender today though, bump has dropped and she seems to be kicking/wriggling extra hard today just to rub it in that she's still in there!

hoping they will start again today so am off to do some cleaning, may scrub the floor later too.

    hugs x x x
    Time to find me again
