Morning all

Sorry to report I am firmly back in queue.

Went in the shower once my partner got home yesterday which was lovely, soothed the contractions, got out, relaxed and they stopped entirely. feeling a little tender 'down there', and sore nipples but no pains or contractions at all today and slept like a log last night.

So guess I am back in line and will have to wait out my 16 days until my due date. Startign to get a bit :mad: now though - ribs, hips, back, thighs are hurting and I have a school walk to do four times a day - so I now she's head down but she is just too comfy. Really don't fancy another induction though..............

On the coke/egg debate ---- I have firmly avoided eggs unless they've been cooked in a cake etc but I have been drinkign pepsi/pepsi max/diet pepsi for the last few weeks - I did stop for most of the pregnancy and would have the odd cup of tea when I was in work or visiting but haven't had a coffee (cappuccino!) since before Xmas!

Thanks for advise on the slings pigpen i may go and get me a piece of material to try first and if that is no good i will invest in a manufactured one OH would like to give it a go as well. Can i ask fernliee roughly how much material did you buy? My mil to be will be able to edge it for me as im uselss at sewing might be able to borrow sils newborn as well to give it a try out hehe :-)

I have a baby carrier, I used it with DD and DS it didn't hurt my back and I love it, will use it again. Didn't do the little ones any harm. DD would not lay on her back so the pram was a nightmare and the carrier a godsend, by far my favourite baby thing I was given.

Also I have enjoyed the odd runny egg so far and will continue to do so. At the moment I eat what I want when I want but I know that is probably going to change. First GTT at 16 weeks next friday I hope that one is negative otherwise my diet is going to change alot, no more white bread, nothing sweet, pasta and potatoes will be a problem so reduce the portions alot, fruit will be an issue so more vegetables and apro soya light if I need milk for anything. I will still have the odd treat but they'll be alot smaller and more like once a month instead of once a week And that isn't the worst part, there are the twice daily injections and regular finger !!!!! tests Deff the last baby for me, never ever again lol

morning all

managed another night sleeping with DH. Don't think I sleep quite as well as on my own but don't want to get too much into the habit of the spare bed unless I have to.

Hips and lower back are killing me after the walk yesterday . I'm going to go to boots on the way to work and see if they have any of those travel sickness bands as a few people have said its worth trying them for the train.

right, i'd better clean teeth and get going. sir monster enjoy the shops!

Hi everyone

Well had a show last night irregular contractions all night until I gave up on sleep at 4am. Called my mum over to look after DD and take her to school called MIL gave her keys and instructed to pick up DD after school. Contractions getting worse went in bath and guess what THEY'VE STOPPED not fair (stamps feets and flounces off in huff)

Morning - sorry you're back Sammy. It must be very frustrating for things to start and then stop again - hope it kicks off again properly before too long!

First lot of baby washing in the machine now. Slightly horrified by how many sleepsuit things I've got - to be fair though I've spent a lot less than £20 on it all, and all of my tiny stuff is 2nd hand. Got some bigger sleepsuits which are new, but were hugely reduced in price cos the shop was closing down. Tried sorting it into sizes yesterday, and some of the 0-3 is way smaller than the newborn, but I guess bubs is bound to fit into at least some of it.

Got to go buy a lidded bucket for my nappies, so I can get them presoaked and washed too. The whole thing is just getting scarily real now!!!

Noticed on Friday when I was showing my ring to a friend. I have phoned a friend who is a jeweller in Hatton Garden he has agreed to look at it for me and only charge me cost price to fix it :T

Ohh sounds like labour vibes are need.

I did aqua areobics with my PG neighbour last night it was really good. I have been up since 6 with loads of energy for some reason.

Lots to sort today including giving notice to our tennant.

Morning all,

I feel terrible soo tired. OH has been fixing someones computer all weekend and was determined to finish it last night, so he worked through the night and came to bed 4.30am. Duno why but I just cant sleep without him, so I didn't sleep at all then I couldn't sleep when he had come upto bed. Got about 1 hour sleep in the end and I feel so ruff for it.

Manager is back in work today, and it sounds like we have got another company visiting the office, so we have all gota rush around, make it look tidy and meet and greet them. I just wana sleep only 7 hours to go until I go home

OH is doing my head in...cant/shouldnt do this or that...and every time i sit down theres a pint of milk in front of me...9 million questions about have I eaten today/what fruit/what veg/how much milk/preggo tablets yadda yadda yadda..I know he is just concerned...but stilll:p
