Kataratarina wrote: »Can i be added to the list please... my EDD is 22nd Dec. im only 12+4 and have spent the entire weekend in bed feelin carp then i read all you'se ready to go, rushing about and doing things i feel so lazy!!
Congratulations:D Have added you to the list, is it your first baby or have you other children already?afternoon everyone....
absolutely nothing happening here.... i knew i'd be a long hauler!!!!
Madwife came round to do my bp check, was still high but on par with previous so noone cares..... got follow up appt with consultant on wednesday where i'll get a stretch and sweep to try and kick start. she seems to think they wont let me go the full 14 days over because of bp risks, so my point was so why not do anything now? but it was the horrible wench so i was glad to just get her out of my house....
now im just BORED!!!!!! this is worst that symptom spotting for our bfp in the first place.....
Awww you're only 1 day over hon....that's nothing to worry about and you could go anytime:) I went 4 days over with ds1 and 3 days over with ds3....it really isn't anything. Sorry the midwife appt was useless, but i'm glad your BP hasn't risen anymore:kitkat5566 wrote: »Redmel: ur lucky, I am defo going to consider our next move being to an area where there are actually decent shops... And jobs! My local town has no baby shops, a tesco has recently opened but the baby range is very basic, anything on offer is always sold out even if it's 1st day of offer and just opening! My next town has toys r us, mothercare and a small pram shop I'm yet to find. Mothercare is tiny, toys r us has the tiniest babies r us section, you blink and miss it. Oh how I love to live in the countryside!
Had to wear my maternity jeans today as I couldn't do up my other jeans! these are the blooming marvelous £3 ones and very comfy indeedOH actually tidied up I just cannot believe it, I daren't say a word though!
Ooooh sounds awful....I am 10-15mins from one city, 30mins from another city and then about 50mins from another, so shopping is not an issue:D Although I hate the horrible smelly town I live in and would love to live a little way out into the country, as long as I was still not too far from shops:) Funny really as I tend to buy a lot online anyway:cool:Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,

I like this pushchair http://www.mothercare.com/Petite-Star-Zia-Stroller-Purple/dp/B0039IEMVI/sr=1-8/qid=1276442086/ref=sr_1_8/279-9047027-0200058?_encoding=UTF8&m=A2LBKNDJ2KZUGQ&n=42805041&mcb=core
tell me what you think and has anyone used it or seen it in real life
Things I like are it looks like it'll fold really small which is good for our tiny car and to store in the cupboard under the stairs. It seems a reasonable price. Says its suitable from birth (although I'll probably use a sling for the first few months, or the pram I have).
I don't need a pushchair but if I can get a new one for a reasonable price I thought this one might be it. I do have a pram already but its really old, was 2nd hand mamas and papas one I bought when pregnant with DD over 5 years ago but I will probably use it for the school run for the first couple of months. I have a car seat still from DS and am not keen on travel systems anyway. I prefer 2 handle ones - I like to hang my handbag on it. Hopefully I will get the HIPG and that more than covers the cost with a bit left over so though it would be a nice treat.
A fair few over on the parent thread have it and LOVE it, they can't praise it enough;):DUnless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,

Thanks, this is my first and i think i am becoming quite the little drama queen at 12 weeks! I just feel terrible with no energy, from ive found out 6weeks ago apart from going to work everyday i have been out and about approx 7 times!! Im waiting on my energy boost in my 2nd trimester! Now a mother to my beautiful daughter OliviaBorn 10th Dec 2010 weighing 7lb 1oz:A

You will get your energy back, I know it doesn't feel like it and tbh it doesn't magically happen as soon as you hit 2nd trimester either, but it does happen. I found I was exhausted until somewhere between 14-16wks, all I wanted to do was sleep:)

No, it didn't- it was horrific (induction, forceps, post partum haemorrage) but half an hour later I said I would do it again
I mean January the 11th- I am so dozy I didn't say which month!:jMummy to 2 small 4 year old bundles of mischief!:j0 -

My DD1 was quite a traumatic birth as well, so I feel for you thereThere weren't any complications for me though, she just needed a yank because she was huge
I'm not going to mess with the list, I will get it wrongI'm sure someone will do it in a minute
That will be busy having an 11 month age gap. My twins were born 21 months after DD1 and it was like being hit by a bomb :eek:Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

Can i ask a silly question... i have been looking at prams over the last few weeks, so i am prepared but see if i was to buy this and use it from birth http://www.reviewcentre.com/r185717_2_Baby_Jogger_City_Mini.html
are people comfortable with having their new born lying facing out?
I am struggling to think of ever a time when ive seen a new born face out, but maybe im just being silly? Now a mother to my beautiful daughter OliviaBorn 10th Dec 2010 weighing 7lb 1oz:A
