*flings evil painful tummy pains over to conventgirl*
Enjoy!!
I am finding it in creasingly hard to do even minimal tasks without setting pains off.. the annoying thing is.. i know these are worse than the real ones! They hurt more and do nothing!
My feet are puffy again.. I can't eat a whole meal so am eating in shifts.. 2 of every meal is very tiresome!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
I seemed to set off BH today also Pigpen, OH mentioned about using the last disposable BBQ to cook some sausages so I went and did that, I was rushing about doing other stuff inbetween cooking and I had terrible BH, they seem to have calmed a little. Had some lovely BBQ'ed sausages though!
I have now wrote my hospital bag list, and I will try this week to work on what I need to get, although I think I might have to wait until 30th as thats when I am meeting my consultant so can go shopping on the way as the shops are alot better there. I havent got any cotton balls but I have cotton pads and I am sure they will do (they have never been used and I hate waste!)
Pigpen: Did anything else happen after your show yesterday? Or have things settled down (bar the BH of course!)0 -
Thx....though i cant seem to feel anything as yet
You need to take things easy and put your feet up

I was pretty busy yesterday so nothing was allowed to happen.. and I have a very busy week with physio, governors meetings, trotting off to get grant forms signed, buying the other half of DD1's prom dress etc... Squeak had a very stern talking too about being silly etc and has been commanded to stay put for at least another 4 weeks.. I am simply not ready for an early as this appearance! other than the BH's today.. which I will remain convinced they are until I see a head.. nothing much else has happened.. more of the show has come away but I can't even blame OH for it lol..
We are cartwheeling this very moment though which always sets the BH's off.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Congratulations Michelle x
Kitkat if i'm having another c-section I'll be in at least 3 days, possibly 4 (they had me in to fast the night before last time, apparently I can't do that at home) and I don't think I'll be packing half what you have lol. You have to take all that will make you feel comfortable though. I'm seriously considering not bothering with a toothbrush and toothpaste as these were always in the bounty packs before, ditto baby wipes and OH can always bring mine in if they are not. He gets chucked out between 1-3pm for quiet time. The thing I am mostly concerned about taking is snacks, I was starving after my first because i didn't take anything and the portion sizes are rubbish.0 -
Pigpen; glad nothing else happened! I get plenty of kicks/ movements but I definately feel like the baby is restricted now and that the baby seems to stay head down and moving all of its limbs around, havent had any cartwheel sensations in a while, I do almost worry that the baby seems to have filled its space, is this normal?!?!
MEFRE: I'm worried now I have too much stuff!0 -
Kitkat.. mine feels like it has filled its space and mine! It covers the bottom 2 or 3 ribs now and is very painful.. sadly it is normal and just gets worse!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0

Well I did it!!!
Since my last post, my pains got stronger, and much more frequent. We phoned the midwife at 6pm ish, and told her I was ok and would ring back when I needed someone. By 6.45 I was in frequent agony, on my knees rocking on the ball. She got here about 7.10 to assess me, and said the 2nd midwife would be coming shortly. By about 7.50 I was 7cm dilated and really felt the need to push! My waters went about 8pm followed by a very strong urge to push, and baby Max was born at 8.08pm! The placenta followed naturally about ten mins later.
The 2nd midwife turned up about half an hour later, when I was in bed feeding Max lol.
It was such a relaxing, wonderful quick birth, I'm so glad I opted for homebirth.
So Baby Max was born at 8.08pm on Friday 11th June - his due date!! - weighing 8lb 6oz. He is absolutely fantastic, has hardly made a noise and is breastfeeding well.
FB link for anyone who hasn't seen - for those who have, thank you for all the lovely comments!!

Saz xxx:heart2: THANK YOU MARTIN!! :heart2:0 -
Thanks Pigpen. It feels like sometimes it moves across to my left side, and then it will go strait back to my right side, I just find it weird it doesnt appear to move from the 'head down' position at all like it used to, I know this is good as this is how it needs to be but still!! When he/she moves up they come just under my ribs, but they feel very low atm.
Cant believe how solid my belly feels! I know obviously there is a baby in there but it just feels sooo strange! I'm having more BH and now the baby has hiccups!0
