Hi everyone. I am currently 17 weeks pregnant with my 3rd and wanted to ask some of you ladies who are further along than me if any of you have had problems with on/off bleeding? It is brown bloood and I have no pain atm which is good I know but I am finding this so stressful (its my 4th bout of bleeding so far). I only saw the midwife yesterday and she listened to the heartbeat which was fine - its just that I am having a hard time believing I can hold on to this baby to term. Any advice/reassurance much appreciated!

Sorry my 1st post on this thread is a moan!

Are the bleeds about the times you periods would have been due by any chance?

I've had on & off bleeding like that, usually around the time that all these baby website tell you there's a growth spurt or it's starts jiggling about so I always put it down to that:) Mentioned it to mw and she wasn't fussed either:)
How much blood is it??? For me it was slight discharge into knickers and visible when wiping but that was it, usually stops after a day or 2 when bubs has got itself comfy again:)
I think if it's starting to resemble a light period then get yourself an appointment with doctor??!

EDIT: sorry for spamming up the thread:o I is bored!
DOUBLE EDIT: Oh f*** PP! Yep think you better go scare the $h!t out of your OH:p

  • Ok those who feel kicks/movements...does it start off feeling like a belly-flip???? Y'know that feeling you get in your stomach when you go over road bumps unexpectedly or when you see your OH for the 1st time in what seems like forever:o or he touches you in nice places and it makes your belly do that funny feeling thing:o;):D

I'm sure it is baby but I need someone to tell me it definitely is otherwise I won't be convinced!

    TIA x

    Hiya

Mine started like this - like when you are about to get on a rollercoaster and you have a squirmy tummy and butterflies. Or sometimes it was like bubbles bursting, or like little fingers tapping on the inside of my abdomen. It sounds like you can feel your baby to me :T Mine have got stronger I think OH could feel from about 17 weeks, just a tiny rumble and now at 25 weeks we were sitting yeserday watching my belly jump! It's amazing - even at 3am when it's dancing on my bladder :rotfl:

    Oh.. F***

Having a show at 29.5 weeks isn't good is it?

I think I may need my crib sharpish!!!

I did have 3 (17, 29 and 31 weeks) with DS2 so it MIGHT be ok.. but he arrived at 32 weeks..

    Now... dare I tell OH???

    lol...

I have never actually had a show but my babies came early too, not as early as your ds2 however. rest up and keep an eye on it and tell your OH only if you start feeling any kind of regular cramps or pains I would say. best wishes! :)

I is bored too and trying not to get a headache from DS1 and DS2 watching cartoons and playing rather loudly.....

fuzz i am feeling baby and i am 17wks it feels very much like baby is doing somersaults as i keep getting that rolling stomach feeling.
I get the tapping every so often too generally when i give my belly a good poke!!!!
DH can't feel it yet though (not that he likes feeling the babies kick anyway).

I'm the same with OH and xmas coming up...I aint drank since DHs 30th bday in Feb when we got hammered and conceived:D:D:D:D
I'm designated driver for his xmas party so won't be having much at all, for the best really as I imagine I'll be hammered after a sip:rotfl:
I also want DH involved as much as possible...I do worry coz he's so laid back about everything and i know damn well that if allowed he'd let me do everything with bubs...but not gonna happen...stroppy Fuzz will be out in full force once baby is here:D:D:D

I worry also about my OH, whatever I suggest we need for the baby he just says 'upto you' i just feel like I have chosen everything so far! But when it comes to names... grr he just says NO to everything :mad::mad:

Oh sh*t Pigpen!! Better tell you OH! Hopefully your baby isn't coming this early
