*hugs* Agutka - it seems very unfair that they won't commit to having him for just one day, especially as you say you know exactly when it's going to happen. An hour isn't that far away either for something like this! Really hope you manage to get something sorted soon for your own piece of mind, you don't need this hanging over you.Mummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0

This is on the Adsa baby event for £40 ( half price ) only problem is it isn't showing on their website unless it appears overnight ( not instore direct only )Busy mum of 3, so if my posts don't make sense or ask a silly question be patient:rotfl:0 -
Sorry to hear that Agutka, I am sure your family will come through for you, I bet it is worrying not having everything all planned out, my OH isnt entitled to paternity leave (well he might not have a job anyway) my mum hasnt mentioned coming over but I am sure if I beg her she will (this is my 1st child and I am very scared about being on my own).
I do like your signature saying 'due via sunroof' lol. My dad always makes this joke with me and my sis, saying we have to buy cars with sunroofs as we cant go out thru doors0 -
(((hugs))) to Agutka not the extra stress you need.
Sounds like you have got some major bargains KitKat think I need to get to some car boot sales, will definitely be going to the NCT nearly new sales but next ones near to me aren't until mid May.
Forgot to add, thanks to those who mentioned bump bands. Wearing mine from New Look now with a couple of buttons undone on my trousers and is really comfy. Also I think wearing one has given me a small bump - so at least I look preggers with my clothes on now (or just fat and eaten a large lunch!).
Re weight gain I know I shouldn't compare but worried I'm not putting enough on as weighed myself yesterday and seem to weigh the same as I did when found I was preggers. Although this may be due to restricted eating due to sickness and indigestion, also used drink a bit which I don't know and what a difference it makes!!Thomas born 28/08/2010 weighing 5lbs and 4ounces, small but perfectly formed :j:j Now weighs 19lbs and 5 ounces

I lost 7lbs while sick in early pregnancy and now I have gained 8 1/2 lbs all together ( total gain of 1 1/2 lbs ) + I'm 23 weeks, my bump is massive so I'm guessing I have lost some off my legs etc cos my bump feels like it weighs a ton. I wouldn't worry about it too much the health care professionals don't seem to care much about weight gain now it's all about measurements.Busy mum of 3, so if my posts don't make sense or ask a silly question be patient:rotfl:0

Kitkat you sound like a bargain queen! No harm in it, cos it means you have more money to play with for more 'fun' stuff rather than just the practical things.
I've been tidying (though you wouldn't think it) but my knee went when I was sorting out the cupboard under the sink, so I'm having a chill out with some cherry juice and the computer for a bit.
Also, I know it's mega sad, but my first delivery from Approved Food came this arvo so I now have 15 assorted boxes of Ryvita stacked neatly that I got for £1.98.

Just got back from a 2.5 mile walk to the local shopping centre and back, bought my nursing bras in Peacocks while I was there. £4 each plus my 20% staff discount - bargain! We have a special 40% off week next week which I was tempted to wait for but decided it was cutting it a bit fine, and for an extra 80p saving per bra wasn't worth the risk lol.
I can always buy the same bras in the event next week and take these ones back if I do last that longMummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -
Afternoon all
just relaxing on the sofa with a cup of tea.went out with dh to go to hobbycraft and cinema. Only to find hobbycraft didnt have any of the letters I needed (3d cardboard ones). Only had 1 letter that I need, how useless!
saw Kick A$$ at the cinema, and it was ok to watch but to be fair I wasnt that keen to start with. It was only because DH wanted to see it....
Had a very stretchy baby though and braxton hicks through the first 20 minutes and then I got really hot. Generally uncomfortable, came out and my lower back and hips are killing me, was walking like a cripple!
Also finally managed to get a lampshade for babys room. And just got some really fiddly tidying up to do on my canvass, and then thats one done......
Gill is this 40% for everyone or just staff? Im thinking of holding off to see if I can find the maternity jeans that were recommended...
I got some new bras yesterday as well, went for a 36 and not 34....as I was measured.Kept cup size the same and they feel much more comfy. £4 for 2 in matalan.Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
CAFC girl - it's just for the staff unf. As I'm not working there atm I didn't get as many vouchers, just had to rely on a colleague to give me a few of her spares. Seeing another 2 colleagues tomorrow so I'll see if they have any spare and get one to you if they do.Mummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0
