Xmas if your selling baby clothes I would try your local fee to advertise paper as bundles on ebay don't seem to fetch much, I usually find large items fetch a much better price in the local rag.
Looking forward to Asda's baby event tomorrow - It'll be the first one I've been too, figure I'll get everything organised before I get too big to be bothered.
Re maternity trousers I find in the first/second trimester it is better to buy one size smaller as they are a snugger fit, I can't stand the under bump ones, love leggins & love Next trousers with bump band ( clearance store/sale )
Hope everyone is doing well, good luck to gill for todayBusy mum of 3, so if my posts don't make sense or ask a silly question be patient:rotfl:0 -
Hope everyone enjoyed their DIY and moving things this weekend. We manged to move the large set of draws (and empty/sort things out) into bubs room, already filled up nearly two drawers with nappies/baby bath etc. Only one big drawer left for bubs clothes but not planning on getting too much to begin with. Still need to move wardrobe out of there, but may wait until we get the cot.
Good luck to Gilby today, hope bubs has come out with no probs and congrats to Jolene.
Definitely getting kicked by bubs now which is quite exciting. Only 4 weeks till see bubs again!Thomas born 28/08/2010 weighing 5lbs and 4ounces, small but perfectly formed :j:j Now weighs 19lbs and 5 ounces

Yeah I did mean baby bath wash sorry (got the boots 5 for a fiver offer, plus half price breast pump offer), would be funny to get a bath in a drawer :rotfl:think as others have said will get a new washing up bowl. This will probably go on a trolley type unit in the room. Will prob get cot May/June time, along with some clothes for bubs when we find hopefully find out the flavour. We hope to borrow a moses basket from my BIL or my sister.Thomas born 28/08/2010 weighing 5lbs and 4ounces, small but perfectly formed :j:j Now weighs 19lbs and 5 ounces

Congrats Jolene!
Just a query about breast pumps... are manual ones ok or do they require too much manual labour?Would it be worth it to pay the extra for an electric one?
Back at work today...sooooo tired! Bubs woke me up at 2am with hiccups and then wouldnt stop spinning around until 4! I hate it when you can feel the shoulders turning in the middle of your stomach, it feels liek youre going to explode! :rotfl:

I've only got a bath as my parents bought it from a car boot, so i will just sell it on when bubs is bigger, i know its a waste but for the sake of £2 it doesnt cost the earth! I did think of getting a new washing up bowl also, but my parents had already bought this. I got the half price breast pump, but no bath wash stuff yet. I have only got cot as I was given it, just need mattress and all the other bits! I got a 2nd hand moses basket, that is like new with wooden stand for £7, lots of ppl have said that they only used theirs for a month or so, so at least it hasnt cost lots.
I couldn't believe this weekend how much I have saved on baby stuff, when I originally budgetted for 'all new' it was going to cost £1000! Think I have spent £100 so far and I have got so much for my money, ebay, family/friends, and car boot sales are a life saver!!! And now I can actually afford a new pramaltho wot to get.. i have no idea!! I would love a proper 'pram' type tho!!

May I have a moan please?
Have I mentioned I'm having a baby next Tuesday? When I had DS, the family fell over themselves to help, I had MIL stay with us for a week and look after baby, then my Mum came over for a week and cooked and cleaned. It was lovely, as I was really slow to get over my emcs.
But this time round, MIL is busy providing free childcare to sil (I'm so jealous lol), so there's a big hoo hah about me needing help. And my Mum doesn't seem that interested in coming over because my house isn't clean and tidy. At this rate we're going to have to leave ds with the dog just so dh can come for the op with me .
I know at the end of the day they'll all pitch in (I hope) but I would rather have concrete plans rather than hearsay and complaints. It's not like we don't know the exact dates. I love being punished because we live an hour away from them both, rather than on their doorsteps like dh sister and my own brother. Babysitting for me is packing up the house, using up the whole weekend. I'd love to be able to go to the cinema or just a meal out. Moan moan moan.:wall:0
