:hello: hey there everyone, I am graduating from the less than 12 weeks thread. I'm 13+3 with my 1st (although sadly 3rd pregnancy), had my scan last week (my 3rd) and all is well so far. starting to look ahead now and thinking that it might actually be happening for us. although we have no clue what we need and having been lurking on these boards for a couple of weeks its all a bit overwhelming. I am starting to feel more human again now, have been suffering with nausea/bloating and exhaustion since week 5 so its nice to have a bit of energy back and also be able to eat healthy foods again without wretching, I was worried I was going to end up with an undernourished baby :o.

BTW, I have worked out that RLT is raspberry leaf tea, but what is this EPO everyone keeps talking about, thanks

    xx

    Hi and congratulations:)

EPO = Evening Primrose Oil...I think it is supposed to help soften cervix?? Not too sure as I don't really go in for all that.

Look forward to chatting to you. (21 Oct is my ds2's birthday:D)

    evening all

Sorry i didnt get on earlier today, needed to spend some time with DH. I'm feeling a bit clingy for some reason....

Went out into town and changed the sleep suits, picked up some other odd bits and pieces, came home and made a start on my canvasses. Looking ok so far, needs a second coat. will try and post piccies another day.

RLT wasnt too bad. Like I said before I worked in a tea shop, where we made it with tea leaves. Got to say, ours was much nicer LOL I did add a little bit of sugar to it, because it just tasted of nothing. Might try it tonight with some blackcurrant added. Was nervous it would kick off braxton hicks, but nada....

feel a bit unsettled and a bit shakey today.....

I dont like the RLT as it comes i always add vimto to it i always leave the t bag in the cup as well as i find it needs to steap for a good long time before it actually works properly.

Cafc i hope you feel a little better soon. Have you tried the thing i sent. I hope it worked properly i was only able to test it on the dvd player :-)

I'll admit I left it brewing for about 10 minutes, as I started to do the washing up, and then I forgot about it completely LOL

Yeah I'm doing a session with it a day, I get quite dozey listening to it, which has been nice and relaxing....

I'm not sure it's not just a bit of a realisation thing, about baby, life changing etc. I'm a bit worried about the change in relationship between me and dh, hence the clinginess i think.... oh who knows im probably just waffling bull-phooey....

better go and sort my tea out xx

    Evening all!

I've had loads to catch up on as I was too tired in the week to keep up ... so thankyou all for being quieter this last two days!:D

Congratulations to Kelink, Jopsey, Redstar and Jolene:T:T (I think that's everyone!)

Hugs to CAFC and anyone else feeling down.

Sorry to read your sad news Pigpen.

Hello to all newcomers, hi Rik, I know what those first few weeks are like after 2 miscarriages, hopefully you feel more relaxed now, it gets better from here on!

Just to go back to the vitamin conversation from a few pages/days ago - I don't take any tablets other than folic acid, I know I don't have to take it any more but I have some left and don't want to waste them! I also try to keep an eye on my calcium intake and have started making banana milkshakes most days which I love. But I've been more indulgent recently, as Tesco have Frij milkshakes on bogof and I love the chocolate fudge flavour!:D

I bought some maternity jeans yesterday as I was very pleased to find some that appeared to fit, they were reduced to £9 plus I paid for them with a gift card. But when I tried them on at home they started to fall down as soon as I walked upstairs, so obviously don't fit properly! I'm starting to wonder if maternity jeans aren't for me, maybe I should stick to leggings.

Hope you've all had a lovely weekend.

My maternity jeans have already been worn through one pregnancy so are a bit big. They are fine straight from the wash but after an hour or so stretch out and do fall down. I do sometimes use a ribbon through the belt loops to hold them up a bit, or just constantly hoike them up- Mmmm! Classy lady me :D

Wow! Be careful on the stairs - decorating them is scary enough at the best of times...

I've found my below the bump maternity jeans (2 pairs) fall down all the time, and have at every stage of the pregnancy. (I'm 38 weeks so not gonna get much bigger now I hope :) I put a bump band over the top which does help a bit.

I'm loving over the bump jeans now tho, but I only have one pair :(

Went for a monster walk with DH this afternoon, but no sign of it starting anything off unfortunately, altho I do have sore hips and lower back now! Think this baby is staying put until its due date...
