  • Morning Ladies - I had a great nights sleep (after 3 terrible ones) so feel like a new women. We have started the decorating by we I mean OH with me in supervisory role. Last time I was painting the ceiling at 38 weeks this time not got the energy. Anyway we are decorating living room, downstairs cloakroom and hall - including flooring throughout - just as well OH works best to a deadline. I miss the downstairs loo already but think of all the extra exercise I'm getting and I'm not going to complain now the awful avocoda toilet has been ripped out :D.

Cafc how did you raspberry leaf tea go ? mine wasn't too bad.

ethelsmum how did the younger take to being underneath you see i know my bubs just wouldnt go underneath he is to inqusitive and just wouldnt like being caged in i think the way they are brought up that the new one would be the same i mean what kind of interaction are they going to get with the world outside being down there. I really would like the opinion of someone who has used one as the shops rave about them but its not the same until you have used it on a day to day basis :-)

I am a buggy-holic and only had this up until dd being about 6 mths old - I loved it when she was in the cocoon in the main part laid flat and ds was sat in the additional seat above her. She was very cosy although everyone assumed I didn't have her with me as she was hidden away. The pushchair was a dream to push. When she got older and we converted it so ds was in the main bit and she was in the extra seat underneath she had no problems going in it and seemed quite happy but she never looked really comfy. Also, ds was heavy and I was really worried it would tip when trying to get up and down curbs etc. I only used it like this for probably 2mths max so can't really comment in it - I sold it and had a single buggy with a buggy board and also bought a cheap twin aria off ebay for the oxxasions I did need a double..
I found the aria good - was slim enough to fit through normal shop doors and I took it on the bus. I bought it second hand, used it for 6 mths or so and then sold it to my sil who had it a while too - really lasted well.

Morning ladies - it's been a quiet 24 hours on here - is everyone out enjoying the sunshine?

It was forecast to rain today but I need to get out for a bit so hoping it will hold off a bit longer so that me and DH can go for a walk. He's watching the F1 at the moment so I'm hiding upstairs!

We went to the cinema last night and watching Alice in Wonderland in 3D, which was fab. I was suprised at how comfy I was aswell, and I didn't have to get up to go for a wee either lol :)

CAFC - Did you enjoy your RLT? I really like it but am struggling to get 4 in through the day (mainly because I don't get up early enough!) so often end up having 2 at bedtime! It's supposed to help after you've had baby so think I'll carry on taking it a bit longer

Suzy - booo for going back to work tomorrow! I bet you can't wait to tell your friends your news tho.

Don't think there's any sign of baby coming yet :( We DTD yesterday in the hope it would get things moving and I think I might capture DH again today. I'd quite like to have him tomorrow as it's hopefully the day Newcastle will win the Championship. (We got married on the day they got relegated last year so this would go someway to redeeming us where the family is concerned :)) If he's not here by then he needs to stay put a bit longer as it's my birthday on Thursday and I'm not sharing!!

Did you go to John Lewis and look at pushchairs? How did you get on?

I am still looking for a decent (lightweight-ish)single, I may go for the Britax B mobile 4, or else a mountain buggy single off eBay. I am just not keen on 3 wheelers!! I also need to order a freezer (or fridge freezer) before I buy a new buggy as our freezer has broken down, along with the car!!

Everyone seems to be a bit better today so we just went to the park for half an hour, mainly for a kick about with the ball, everyone is shattered now! I am making an easy dinner because I am not even sure whether anyone will actually eat much of it, so am not stnding out cooking a full on meal....it will be sausages, oven chips, egg, beans,,,,or any combo of that, whatever they want really.
Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.

redmel we didnt get there in the end as there was problem on the train lines so will plan to go next time OH is here. Went to birmingham instead and there wasnt much there to be honest. I think i saw the britax B mobile in mothercare yesterday it seemed like a sturdy choice but to be honest although light weight it did seem to be rather bulky compared to others in its class (we looked at it as you can get a double kit for it but that just made it even bigger)
