Moneysaving diva: congratulations on your little girl! love the name :)

dream birdie: I first had leaky boobs at 20 weeks, it's horrible. It's only tiny amounts but I cannot leave the house without pads just incase. When I see pads on offer I buy them as if I leak from 20 weeks until I stop BFin that could be a lot of pads! It's weird as sometimes I have nothing for 2 weeks then I'll have a bit odd days, sorry if tmi it's not something I can talk to my OH about without him referring to milking cows!

Thanks for comments on gym, I'm very pleased with it :)

Well after posting this in the evening of 2nd June I went to back to hopsital at 10pm to be told I was 4-5cm (:( boo I thought - I thought I was going to be further along and thought it would be ages still) but they would let me stay. I asked for birthing pool and they said it was free :j yippee!!

It took them a while to fill it. They gave me gas and air but I used it with ds and didn't like it when I had my son and after 1 or 2 puffs decided I couldn;t use it again so I had no pain relief  I then vomited :( ..but then the pool was ready at about 11pm. I got in the pool and it was bliss!!!!! :D I had a few contractions and then had the urge to push  Niamh was born at 11.51pm :D:D:D weighing 7lb 10oz.

    We were home by 4am!

I am one very proud mummy. :D I have had two easy/quick labours in the end and I would say if you have the chance to have a water birth DO IT!! I found it a nicer experience than on a bed.

Good luck to all of you xx

    Yay How fantastic:) CONGRATULATIONS:D

I have edited the list on the last page as we have had sooo many lists posted in the last two days, I thought it best:)

    congrats MSD xxx

I'm getting one boob ever so slightly crusty and I am sure they are gonna leak like they did with my daughter, I can feel it already and I'm not even 14 weeks. Incidently they didn't leak at all with the boy, or grow or anything so I thought it was that way with DD because she was the first and they had already grown, now I can't help but think maybe its a girl thing for me hmmm.

congrats to MSD, good to hear a positive experience and what a lovely name.

    labour vibes to Michelle

I put a wanted on netmums last night for a nappy bucket and also saying does anyone have any jungle themed nursery bits and had 3 responses already! One is a lady offering me a nappy bucket for free and she says she has a full set of mothercare fun at the zoo range for £35 that I can look at. I wasn't going to do 2nd hand on this but worth a look at I think!! There's also a woman with a set of Mamas and papas jenny giraffe...only put it on last night so waiting to see what else comes through!

Went to bed at 10pm last night, got up at 8 though was woken inbetween by dh thrashing around a lot..in the end i moved beds at 5am! I feel much better for it though.

I am going to distress OH's mum by using a sling.. apparently it will suffocate if I use a sling..

I wonder what people used to use before prams were invented?! I find it interesting that many men want to use slings/carriers rather than prams. Its almost like a 'display' of their produce! :)

otherwise cats would wind up getting covered in baby cack from falling in the bucket.

Michelle - sending you the BIGGEST VIBES!!!! Hope the main event isn't too far away now.

Yuk- can just imagine a drowned cat sloshing about before waltzing through the house covered in muck.

Thanks to all for the labour vibes... just blumming !!!!!! off now... Very crampy and random contractions all evening that went away once I was in bed. Got woken up about 3 times by more leaking and a massive contraction- that wasnt nice!

All has stopped now. Just one contraction since getting up at 10. I really dont want to go over my due date!

    Thanks for the vibes ladies.

    quiet on here today.

I am a bit bored...might go for a wander and feed the ducks with dh later. Problem is I'm really struggling with the heat and it's much cooler inside!

cafe was full so we had lunch at home. DH had a go at me when I said I was going to make an appt to get my hair cut whilst i'm off sick next week. He seems to think if I can do that I can go to work....er, no. Think he doesn't really believe I should be off work. :( well he can try it.
