    Hi Ladies...

well i only have 11 days to go...really cant believe it. Am convinced junior is going to be late...not sure why.

I have spent a few hours down the plot today and managed to get what i set out to do even though it took far longer than i thought. But boy it was warm. Was planning on going down again but its going to get hotter so might give it a miss.

MSD...Good luck and quick labour vibes

CAFC....i really hope it all goes well for you tomorrow...will keep my fingers crossed that you wil be having mummy cuddles soon.

    xx

Marvellous thank you. I think as I had none of this bleeding nose/early cramps/violent morning sickness/24.7 emotional rollercoaster with DD it is all a bit of a shock.

And the memory loss is truly shocking!!

Pigpen- Just to say that my MW didn't do my forms at my 28 week appt so I just waited until my 33 week and from sending off my forms to money in my acct it was only 7 days. I did speak to my surgery though who said you can drop off your sure start maternity forms and a request for HIPG form to the surgery, the MW will sign it all and then they will call you to collect, so maybe your surgery will do this?? I know you have early bubbas so prob don't want to leave it much longer I would imagine.

There isn't a MW at the surgery. We have 4 mw's in this area who you are SUPPOSED to be able to contact.. except I have no number.. all the phone numbers on my form are scribbled out with black pen so I am obviously not permitted to have any contact.. I can understand that! lol

I am also not going to be booked in at any hospital because the mw said she can't do it.. apparently the GP can but you have to be ringing at 8am and I am far too busy getting children ready for school.

Never mind... I will just have the baby at home in peace.. Hey.. I can hope!!

TBH I am absolutely dreading the total fiasco it is going to be.. I am really regetting being pregnant because I cannot cope with the idea of it coming out.. the labour I can do.. it is everything else that is making me REALLY panicky.

Pigpen you will be fine, you are a coper!

sir monster - thanks, yes I think I have realised I need to take it easier. Chatting to my friend who has 2 kids tonight she said don't underestimate the commute and what it takes out of you (it takes me 75-90 mins each way)

I am thinking that if Dr shows the slightest inclination tomorrow I will get signed off for a week. I know I can self certificate for a week but I would prefer to have it from the dr! I am super emotional at the moment, have been in tears 4 times today the last one was totally spontaneous. Feel so much better when at home though. Slight nightmare in that we have no cold water in the bathroom and so have to fill the loo cistern using a bucket and clean teeth in the kitchen. Am awaiting letting agent getting someone in to fix it.

CAFC thanks for the update, have been thinking of you

    MSD - good luck!

Good luck and speedy labour vibes to CAFC and MSD!!! Hope it all goes well for you both.

Xmas what a complete bummer about OH job!! Lets hope they can relocate him xxx

Had a lovely day today, a bit of shopping, got my nursing bras at last! Followed by an afternoon at the park with DS and DD. Fish and chips finished the day off nicely :D
9 days to go! I really feel it might come any day now lol. I saw the midwife yesterday and baby is 4/5 engaged. She also asked me (whilst listening to the hb) if I knew what I was having - in a kind of shocked voice...I said 'No why? Do you?' and she said she could have a good guess!! I said don't tell me!!! She than confirmed with the student midwife that it definitely sounded more like a train than a horse..........
At least I don't have long left in suspense :D

    xxx
    :heart2: THANK YOU MARTIN!! :heart2:

  • Hope everyone is feeling well

    I'm having a crappy day

DS (who's birthday party was all organised for Saturday ) has chicken pox, hard to see him suffering so much
Dropped my phone and cracked the screen ( wouldn't be too much of a problem but I can't get in touch with the other mums, and I've been a ninny and stored my contacts to phone and not sim so I'm going to lose a pile of numbers )
    Dishwasher still misbehaving
BH has kicked off today, quite uncomfortable

    I'm ready for the hills
Busy mum of 3, so if my posts don't make sense or ask a silly question be patient:rotfl:

Pigpen- What a total ridiculous way to run your antenatal care, not that anything they do surprises me tbh. Grrr! I'm angry for you. Now not sure if this works in practice, but technically you can ring up any MW and sign up with her so if there were any other surgeries that were within an easy to get to distance you could give them a ring and see if they could at least fill in your forms for you? Seems completely inadequate for them to not give you some sort of contact. Could you try speaking to labour ward and see if they could enlighten you to who you are supposed to contact in a situation like yours, though it is a long shot asking them for any help! Argh!! You are def a coper, so I have no doubt in my mind you will be fine, but the £690 quid would come in handy sooner rather than later hey!! Hope you manage to get it sorted asap anyway, and like I said they processed my forms really quickly so even if you have to wait until next appt hopefully it will come through quick for you.
