I like everyone's baby schedules. Mine isn't quite so precise, but it can come any time between the 6th of July (when my mum comes) and the 12th (when it's due) - no sooner, definately no later!

Fernlie, I'm sure you don't have a face for radio!

Our moggies will be fine, if need be we can leave a key with our neighbour who'll feed them. If they happen to be out when we go, they normally sneak into hers for a cuddle anyway. She has one of ours brother, so regards herself as 'cat aunty' anyway.

Loving the baby schedules, popping one out between chores :rotfl::rotfl:

I wonder as we both have bdays in September the chances of him arriving on either of our bdays.

Had my 25 week appointment, half an hour late as usual but everything is good with me and bubs - heard his heartbeat and I'm measuring exactly right for my size which is good as I feel small :)

Bexta: I agree, I like all the baby arrival schedules. I'm hoping my baby will come within the first 2 weeks of August, I just know I will get very impatient having to wait, really hope I don't go overdue! I want my waters to go somewhere convenient, think I have this fear they will go either when I'm shopping or when I'm upstairs at home as all our carpets are cream! no carpets downstairs! I want a quick and painless labour, and to come home asap!

Hi everyone - I'm in such a bad mood today hate everyone and everything (except internet peeps obv) no real reason for it just grumpy PMT (pregnancy maternity tearfullness)

Big Bird I had a jane for my dd I loved it and the buggy part lasted easily till she was 3 with constant use so really was money well spent.

  • Evening ladies, just wandering through the families boards tonight and thought i'd check in on the pregnancy thread, not been on it for ages as it moves way too fast now and of course my newborn days are now over.

Hope you ladies are all doing well and i really can't believe this thread is nearly 4 years old!

Congrats and good luck with all your pregnancies, bumps and babes.

smartie - i will ask dh about mat leave, he's probably looked into it (finance bod!)

He has to get up at 5.50am tomorrow so am tempted to sleep in spare room but will try our bed again - prefer to be near him really! Hoping to manage work tomorrow, just checked BP and is ok, not too low. Am wondering if I might be a bit anaemic, will up my iron rich foods and make sure I take preg vits every day.

I guess I should go to bed now as sleep will undoubtedly help!

I didn't order anything from blooming marvellos as don't know the sex so only the dungarees were really worth it, might see if they are still on tomorrow.

I was wondering if you lovely ladies could give me a bit of advice, or if any of you had been in the same situation?

What do you all do with any/all pets when you go into labour?

I have two dogs, one of which is very territorial and (although a complete softie!) will not let anyone in the house unless me or hubby is there too. This kind of rules out giving anyone a key to let themselves in and let the dogs out to do their business!

I have looked into dropping them off in boarding kennels but it would appear that everywhere I have looked at, you need to pre-book. Which would be useful if I was having a C-section and knew when I was going to go into hospital but useless otherwise!

All of my friends and family have pets of their own and can't keep them at their house, which only leaves phoning someone and asking them to come and house-sit at the drop of a hat and not leave until I get back or they won't be able to get back in!

Obviously I don't want OH to have to come home when I am in labour and miss the birth of his first child, but can't think of any other ideas!

What would you ladies do if you were/have been in this position?

    xx

Big dish of food and a bowl of water.. they are dogs not people!!

My cats will be fed by DS1 or DD1.. I doubt I'll care.. I know they won't.

Spoke to one of my colleagues tonight who I get on really well with, I said to him how I cannot cope with work ATM and he begged me not to go off sick, he reckons he will leave when I'm on maternity leave as he cannot cope with the manager either. Think I will see how I cope this week, but might ask my doc for advise, I just worry about inflicting stress upon my baby, luckily my blood pressure remains low all the time!

    Really hope Cafc is ok

that is a bit mean of your colleague guilt tripping you into staying when it is making you ill.. I think you should all gang up on the boss and tell him what a !!!! he is and maybe complain to his manager and see about getting him fired!!

My baby is coming on a Friday the children are going to their dads and I will be home as soon as I am able to walk out!! So unless they remove a leg when they remove the placenta I will not be gone long!

morning ladies, i woke up whne dh went to work at 4.30am and couldn'tget back to sleep, quite nice having peace to browse on the laptop in bed though before the skids er i mean kids get up.

Kitkat you can buy rantidine over the counter i buy mine from morrissons it's their own brand.
It really is a god send as i have constant heartburn all day every day.
This stuff gets rid of it and stops it coming back for 12 hours!!!!! abd it's only a tiny tablet.

It does say on the pack seek med advice before taking so maybe a quick bell to midwife i was told i can use it last time i was pregnant and if you can get it prescribed obv it will be free.

also does anyone know how long it is before you get your paperwork after registering self employed, do they send it automatically or do i have to do something else need to start paying my ni stamp.

Felt baby moving last night it was soooo lovely think thats why i can't sleep too excited.
Wondering if i can go down and make a brew without rousing the kids.
I don't get nearly enough credit for not being a violent psychopath.

    Hello everyone :hello:

Am starting to feel really uncomfortable at night now :o and finding turning myself over to be heavy work!

and the silly cat has wee'd on it's towel, dragged it into the litter tray and made a right mess  I know she hates being in the cage but it is for her own good. She's giving me evils now because I've taken the towel out and she's got to sit on the metal part. Not a nice job, she'd taken to stashing food under it as well!

    Morning

    Yay on baby movements Pukkamuum
    Grrr to naughty cat delain

I am fed up this morning, probably because I am tired...I am not getting to bed until midnight every night, then LO has been getting up at 6/6.30am since we moved him into the boys room!!!
I am suffering with heartburn/indegestion after eating/drinking ANYTHING, I can't get comfortable in bed, I can't even sit on the sofa without getting shooting pains and aches everywhere, I am mega blocked up all the time, I am still craving chalk like crazy, I am getting so much discharge lately....

I really don't mean to moan as I know others have it worse, just feeling fed up:(

Hoping it will brighten up later or tomorrow as I have bought bbq food and promised the kids a bbq. We are also off to a big joint birthday party on Saturday (which is bbq too) it is for my brother and sister, they have done the same for the last 3yrs, it always turns out really well:) Goint ot tots group in the morning and getting dh to take the older two to the park wiith the dog and the footballs...keeps them out of mischief;)

    xx
