umm i think you can still make profit but not physically work, imagine being the boss of a huge company they dont close down but still earn money, i would make a load now and send dh back & fore the shops but i am a rebel:rotfl:or otherwise you may lose your customers
Good idea;)
I need money going through my business account to keep it going anyway so surely I can't be told off for doing that!!
I could start ML at 29 weeks (my bday:D) and be a lady of leisure all through the summer!:j I'll spend the next few weeks getting everything workwise sorted. Ooooo scarey!!:eek:BLOWINGBUBBLES:kisses2: SMARTIE120 -

Hello
Thanks everyone regarding bizzie baby have now signed up so will await something exciting to review - do you know if in a year they contact you to continue registration or just charge the card you paid with £5 again?
Just ordered from blooming marvellous - newborn dungaree set, 3-6mths blue denim dungarees for our baby then a little dress set for my sisters baby due in oct but got 3-6mths and can be baby xmas pressie and then some jeans in 18-24mths for my nephew for xmas - all for £12!!! I am never ordering maternity clothes from them due to poor quality and have sent my items back so awaiting refund. But the baby items I have always ordered from them for gifts and found them very good quality and excellent value for money especially when in sale!!
I am getting there with my essay I have now done total of 2100 so only another 900 words to go, plan is tommorow other than quickly writing up some notes at work I have time to potenitally finish it in morning (I start work at 8am will try and get in for 7.30/7,45) and then drive over to the uni in afternoon which is about an hr and 15mins from work and then got straight home from there which is hr and half drive. You watch the phone will go constantly all morning and ruin my plans!!0 -
Had growth scan today, and as I knew everything was fine. All measurements were between 45-50th percentile, apart from femur length which was 85th percentile, I think this bubba may well be built like DD! Tall and skinny!
I got a few bits for bubs like vests/ sleepsuits/ muslins etc in sainsburys yesterday as it was 25% off clothing, then triple nectar points!0 -

What do you all do with any/all pets when you go into labour?
I have two dogs, one of which is very territorial and (although a complete softie!) will not let anyone in the house unless me or hubby is there too. This kind of rules out giving anyone a key to let themselves in and let the dogs out to do their business!
I have looked into dropping them off in boarding kennels but it would appear that everywhere I have looked at, you need to pre-book. Which would be useful if I was having a C-section and knew when I was going to go into hospital but useless otherwise!
All of my friends and family have pets of their own and can't keep them at their house, which only leaves phoning someone and asking them to come and house-sit at the drop of a hat and not leave until I get back or they won't be able to get back in!
Obviously I don't want OH to have to come home when I am in labour and miss the birth of his first child, but can't think of any other ideas!
What would you ladies do if you were/have been in this position?
xx
Hi my friend had a similar problem. Once they were at hospital found she was only a few cm dilated but had high blood pressure so had to stay...her dh just nipped back at random times to let the dog out/in as soon as things were in full flow (the following day) he just stayed till baby was born and then once my friend was settled on the ward and visiting hours were over he went home again to sort the dog out.
I personally would never mollycoddle a dog! Our dog gets left outside all day sometimes, he has a bed in the shed which has the door left open and a bowl of water and food out there!! IMO dogs are animals, and should be treated as such.....I would just shove the dogs outside with food water and shelter and go and concentrate on this very special time, the birth of your baby!! But that's just me:)Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,

Slm: I am very jealous of u having a new sofa! I was hoping to change ours, but I think I'll wait until next year incase the baby makes a mess of it! Plus obviously money is a bit tight.
Spoke to one of my colleagues tonight who I get on really well with, I said to him how I cannot cope with work ATM and he begged me not to go off sick, he reckons he will leave when I'm on maternity leave as he cannot cope with the manager either. Think I will see how I cope this week, but might ask my doc for advise, I just worry about inflicting stress upon my baby, luckily my blood pressure remains low all the time!
Really hope Cafc is ok0 -
Sorry to all you dog lovers but i am with redmel on this one its a dog as long as it has food, water and shelter it will be fine to be left on its own for quite a while. If the dog is that territorial now what is going to happen when the baby comes home do you have any plans in place to deal with an aggression that may occur ?:jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0

I did actually type this too, but decided not to leave it in:p If our dog or cat even looked at anyone in the wrong way...they would be gone faster than you could say their name...but again, that's me;)Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,

Took my belly bar out last night as my clothes were rubbing it from where it sticks out now, can't believe how plain and boring my belly looks without it! And the hole looks hideous! Think I'll leave it out, it just kept catching.0
