Urgh, Just got back from the Midwife. Appointment was at 2, didn't get seen til 2.40. OH was !!!!ed as he wanted to be with me for every appointment (Bless him). She did my wee sample and joy of joys thinks I have a urine infection. That's being sent away. I said it didn't hurt to pee. She said I most likely have a silent one! LOL. Since when are they loud and noisy? :rotfl:What's yours is mine and what's mine is mine..0

hugs smartie - i got shoved a bit when i was out too. I thought it was just London people! People are so rude!
I had a nice coffee with friend, she was great - she has known my dh for over 20 yrs and had some wise things to say, we had a laugh too. I felt fine when in there but as soon as I got up to go to boots and walk around I felt pants againlegs like lead, dizzy and a bit sick. I was a bit sick last night cleaning my teeth. think I have just overdone it this weekend to be honest. also nipped to the wool shop to look for a pattern but felt a bit overwhelmed!
kitkat your boss sounds rubbish but like others say he sounds like he's talking out of his !!!! as my dh would say!!
on a positive note though ladies I managed a whole night in the big bed with DH last night...mainly as both so tired and also I slept on rather than surrounded by pillows which helped me stay comfy!Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -

I was wondering if you lovely ladies could give me a bit of advice, or if any of you had been in the same situation?
What do you all do with any/all pets when you go into labour?
I have two dogs, one of which is very territorial and (although a complete softie!) will not let anyone in the house unless me or hubby is there too. This kind of rules out giving anyone a key to let themselves in and let the dogs out to do their business!
I have looked into dropping them off in boarding kennels but it would appear that everywhere I have looked at, you need to pre-book. Which would be useful if I was having a C-section and knew when I was going to go into hospital but useless otherwise!
All of my friends and family have pets of their own and can't keep them at their house, which only leaves phoning someone and asking them to come and house-sit at the drop of a hat and not leave until I get back or they won't be able to get back in!
Obviously I don't want OH to have to come home when I am in labour and miss the birth of his first child, but can't think of any other ideas!
What would you ladies do if you were/have been in this position?

Going to sort out when to go ML. But what do I do??? Do I take all my jewellery out of the shops?? Or do I leave it there and any money I make I put into business account during ML... but make sure I physically don't make anything, visit my shops etc?BLOWINGBUBBLES:kisses2: SMARTIE120 -
Thanks Tigtag, and Rach! Might try the self certify option, maybe see how I sleep tonight. My manager has just told me he isnt coming in tomorrow so thats one positive thing!!!
Glad you managed to sleep in your bed Rach, I think if we had a spare bed I would go sleep in it as I feel terrible keeping OH up, I just keep fidgetting and then getting up to go to loo. Every morning I wake up and I have formed a cacoon around me made of pillows and am sleeping in the middle of the bed, and poor OH is pushed on the edge of the bed with all the pillows everywhere!!0 -

umm i think you can still make profit but not physically work, imagine being the boss of a huge company they dont close down but still earn money, i would make a load now and send dh back & fore the shops but i am a rebel:rotfl:or otherwise you may lose your customers0 -
we have just received our new sofa today which includes a sofa bed. Think OH will be spending quite a bit of time on it! He was very keen to purchase it once he knew i was pregnant and has obviously learnt from the previous 2 pregnancies that he wont get much bed or sleep!Me, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19
