Fuzz, everyone tells me I'm *huuuuuuge* and I think it's just becaise I was a 10/12 before and I'm quite short so my baby had nowhere to go but outwards :) You are probably sticking out a bit, as opposed to having put weight on all around your middle IYSWIM which is what I look like (think Mr Greedy!) and you are probably more or less about the same as I was at 18 weeks. I'm now 23 and I don't think I'm massively bigger but it feels really heavy and it's awkward to get comfy in bed.
At the end of the day, you're growing another person in there so you're bound to change shape! Everyone is different and the main thing is your baby is getting bigger and stronger everyday - that's how I look at it.

I've bought a jane slalom pro, because I can have the stability of it (I love 3 wheelers, I had an urban detour twin and it was fantastic) and it does the car seat travel system bit which OH really wanted it to do. That was the only one we could find that did both, and I think they do a parent facing one now too.

I'm quite glad we got it all from ebay and we've got a carrycot which means I can use it as a proper lie flat pram which I wanted!

I went from a size 10/12 to a 14/16 it was rather depressing to say the least at the time. I had terrible water retention and was just constantly hungry all the time. The silly thing was i only put on around 1 1/2 stone in total once baby & water had come away my body just isnt designed to carry any excess weight. I have now resigned myself to the fact that i am a weeble for the forceable future but i will get back into those shorts and that corset eventually even if it takes until im on my death bed lol :-)

Fuzz; Sorry only just caught up with the last page (took me that long to write my previous msg!) love your bump pic!! I wouldn't say you look big, you look like you have a small frame so your bump might just show abit more :) . Pre-preg I was a size 14 and seemed to take weeks to show then I seemed to grow a bump overnight, think my bump was hidden for weeks as I am abit bigger than you. But I did loose weight with morning sickness (all back on now!!!). Thankfully I am still a size 14, I hate clothes shopping atm (unless its baby clothes!) so am happy staying in my 'old clothes'.
  • I think we are looking to buy a silver cross pram as they go parent facing and have a fully flat "pramette" style when baby is little baby baby.

It's getting a bit scary as I'm 28 weeks today and intend to buy the pram on monday after my next midwife visit.

I've just moved house too from living with my in-laws to a lovely little two bed for me and the hubby and baby bump so things are getting scarily close!

I have been relatively lucky through this pregnancy too by the sound of things, and haven't really suffered with anything other than the heat!

I can vouch for Jane Slalom now being parent facing as I've just ordered one ;) They've renamed it the Slalom Reverse (or Slalom R). I'm pretty sure it'll fit in the back of my Mini with the wheels off, and it'll definitely fit in DH's Golf, so should be fine in an Astra, if that's the kind of thing you want KK.

I'm jealous of the bump pics - Fuzz and Xmas, you both look fab :) I still just look fat :( Was a 14/16 before and seem to have put weight on all round, rather than out front. If you didn't know I was pregnant, you'd probably just think I'd had a big dinner:p I wonder if me being tall makes a difference as I guess there's a bit more room for Flump before I need to start growing outwards.

Did he want something when he said that Pukkamum?! :rotfl:

My OH bless him keeps referring to me as 'Lumpy' I know he means it as a term of endearment but I'm not feeling it tbh and it usually gets him a telling off!

I don't think your bump is huge. Though if we're being brutally honest the cut of your jumper doesn't help! :o **runs and hides**
    :rotfl::rotfl:
That was when we had our first child nine years ago, he now refers to me as big stuff!!!!!!!:D

    Morning Ladies

Fuzz & xmas you both look amazing :A

I am trying to get ready but enjoying the peace of having the house to myself DH is at work and my daughter is on a sleep over :)

I am having a day with a girlfriend we are going for lunch & then to see Sex & the city for orange wednesday :money:

I am at the I have nothing to wear stage the bloating seems to have calmed down loads which is fab but I now have no waist and trying to find things to fit is a bit of a nightmare. I do have lots of maternity clothes but I am trying to but them off for as long as possible as I know I will be sick of them come 2nd December.

We have two weddings this year one in August at Whipslade Zoo & The other in September on a Tall ship!! Can't even get my head around what I will wear to these at the moment.

Can I ask a question??? To those who know what they are having Pink or Blue have you told people or not ?????
If you can think it........it will happen
