I'm another who has never spotted anything on scans... in fact even with ds3 at 34wks she was trying to show me but I could barely make out anything!! The same with this baby....And the fact that she said, 'trust me it's a girl' doesn't make me trust her lol x

Both with DD and this time round they have had their ankles crossed and their legs tucked right under their bums so not a chance of seeing any bits. Luckily we wanted to stay team yellow anyways. BUT we have a growth/ positioning scan tomorrow morning at 37+3 so we may get a flash of something. I'm kind of hoping we don't now though. I have spent most of this pregnancy wishing I knew what we were having and now we are so close to the end and having our amazing surprise when they are born, it seems a bit of an anti climax to find out on a scan. I will be trying to avert my eyes methinks!

Right, night ladies, after my late one last night, and with an early start tomorrow I best try and get some sleep.

Just a quick update.............Baby AB is due on Weds!!! Where has the last nine months gone?

Everything is in place, the nursery is all sorted, travel system in place, clothes all hung in sizes, motorised baby bouncer erected, monitor plugged in, Mrs AB and babies bag packed for the big day..................but.......................Baby AB is showing no sign of making an appearance!!! ;-)

I think he/she is very happy where they are and it could be a few days before we get to meet each other!?! :-)

God ive just realised come wednesday i only have 12 wks left to go :eek:

re scans i had mine a few weeks back and when she was checking babys legs, u literally could not miss his winkie!! OH was very very pleased lol so i would have knew what the flavour was even if i hadnt of asked.

kmckee i havent much advice to give u but i really do hope u are keeping ok. ive been going throught the same thing as you and when u said u felt "fat and lonely" i was like THATS ME!! sometimes i feel quiet alone and its very unnerving. although infact its me pushing my OH away im having total fits of phycosis where i go completly NUTS! so yesterday things kind of came to a head. i ended up sitting down and writing him a letter and told him exactly how i felt. i dunno where i got the idea but it really truly helped me. maybe you should try this, i found it helped me get my thoughts and feelings much clearer as they were down on paper. then i gave it to him and we met up later last night and had a long talk. things are much better now.

argh i need another remedy for heartburn rennies arent working!!

Hi DB gavison advance liquid is safe in preg and effective quite expensive thou - peptac liquid (ask at the pharmacy counter ) is nearly as good but much cheaper. Having said that nothing is lasting me very long but drinking milk helps.

I also ended up 'writing' to my dh, well more like typed...I e-mailed him and afterwards we spoke about it all and it seemed to work, things improved anyway:D

For the heartburn get Gaviscon liquid, if you get yourself along to the doctors thay will prescribe you some big bottle of the stuff (might be the generic version but works just as well) I have gone through gallons of the stuff this pregnancy...

i will get some gaviscon today, i think its a mixture of heartburn+ indigestion if that makes sense? sooo uncomfortable and sore, and i dont have that i have wind lol the joys of pregnancy!

ooh 28 days, thats v.exciting! it'l not be long until im saying that!!!

I have to admit that heartburn etc has been bothering me too. OH is back at work today and the big monsters are off school for half term, so no more lie ins for me. It's funny but over the weekend I was showered and downstairs by 8, it's only today I felt I could have slept longer!

Also I just realised he took the car out and the tax ran out yesterday :eek:
