My other three were all born with Casper - style light bulb heads :rotfl: maybe this one will be different because I never had heartburn before this pregnancy :o

Fortunately he's only driven it to work which is about a mile away from the house as the crow flies and it will be sat in their car park all day. He was meant to be collecting my mum's dead fridge freezer and talking it to the tip later but I might get him to come straight back.

I don't know where he put the paperwork, will have to ring him and find out then maybe I can tax it today whilst he's at work. Does it show on the database if you've paid the tax even if I've got the disc at home??

I'm new to all this :rotfl:

Hi love yes it would show up you had paid your car tax even if you have no disc in car.
Some police men would argue thet it is is an offence to not display a tax disc but it would have to be a jobsworth that made a big deal of it.

Delain, you can tax vehicles at the post office or online if you can't get out. I know what you mean about forgetful OHs, mine sold his bike not long ago without realising the tax had run out.

Redmel, it's a good idea about symbols. We were in two minds whether to find out, but bubs definately wasn't giving anything away! Not quite as naughty as baby Smartie though :p

delain - if you tax it online you don't need any documents other than tax renewal notice, it automatically checks your insurance & MOT. I would never go to PO to do it now, online is so easy!

I am off work today, felt bit of a fraud phoning in sick but really exhausted, just need a day at home. Also there's no way I'd manage the walk that I was meant to be on this morning. Opera was good last night, I felt really clammy & dizzy about 30 mins before the end though, but I was ok as had more room than last time so didn't have to go out. today's plan is v little but am going to meet a friend for coffee. her dh is v like mine and i need a moan!! apart from that we have a flat inspection tomorrow so will do a bit of cleaning but dh will do most tonight i think.

smartie- thanks re the bargain watching! love the t-shirt, i've got one that my sis sent with a bundle of stuff that has pink handprints on and says 'hands off the bump'. not worn it yet but I will! I just found this link too

    oooh, also....

I know we don't really need a cot set at all, I am wondering whether to spend the money on curtains instead (the ones in there are bit manky, plain blue) and maybe just get this which is a bargain and a nod towards the theme! Much as I want them and we can afford I don't really think we need a bumper and patterned sheets etc!

the baby trial stuff website - do they spam you at all or pass your address on? dh is v careful about all that and has only just been happy with the boots, sains & tesco baby club!

great news about the room 1more.

meant to say before - cafc - like others have said, keep hassling. I can't stress this enough as your symptoms do sound pre-eclampsia like. My sister was in a similar situation and didn't push enough, with almost awful consequences.

Morning all, well I feel like carp. Didn't sleep good again last night and I am soo sick of heartburn. I have it 24/7 and now find at night (sorry if TMI!) I cant sleep as I keep choking on reflux :( am in work and as everyones either on holiday or off sick I am stuck here on my own with my manager and he keeps going on at me. I just want to run away. Seriously considering starting my maternity leave abit earlier, as I really don't think I can cope with 2 whole months of this. Totally lost interest in my job, the manager is making my blood boil and I have to walk up so many stairs all the time just to go to the damn loo.

Feel so fed up and nackered :(

On a positive note me and my mum made £90 at our car boot sale yesterday so £45 each :) very pleased with that and that will be added to the money I have saved for the baby (well the HIPG!) so maybe me and OH will go pram shopping soon :)

Hope all is ok with CAFC this morning x

I was induced early with DS when I had all the high blood pressure etc etc so I don't know if they do that anymore??

I've now started to get really uncomfortable:( Anyone else get a numb bum???:o:rotfl:Today is paperwork day for me (oh joy) and I might have to sit on my gym ball to do it and try to get in a comfortable position.

1st of June:eek: A new month which should mean new offers, discounts etc on websites so I shall keep a look out for bargains;):D
