    morning all

back off to hospital in about hour and a half, and yes my plan is to actually find out what the concern is today. Half the problem is they say something and then i just cant remember, or i interpret it differently to DH who then confuses me more....

my mum god love her is worried so is travelling up 300 miles to come and stay and do her "nurse" like thing and get answers for me if i cant.

    im just feeling stressed now.....

  • Hi all,
well it is my due date today!! ......but no sign of baby! I'm tired and uncomfy & don't really know what to do with myself. I'm going to have a lie down when ds has a nap.
Thanks to everyone that posted in reply to my last post about sweeps. I am due to have a sweep tomorrow and I am not as worried now. Thank you.
I just want to meet my baby now!

KK - I always got like that with work and on all occasions started my ML about 5-7wks before baby was due:) There is no way I could have stayed longer, both physically and mentally!!

Hope CAFC is ok...she didn't say what time she was due to go back to hospital did she? Oooooh yay crossed posts, good luck at hospital.....just keep asking them to clarify what ever they are drivelling on about:)

1more - yay on sorting a room for baby:)

Just waiting for Tesco delivery, but it's a boring one today as we have been overspending all over the place, so needed to keep the cost down:(

Cafc; Glad your mum is coming to see you. I really hope the hospital give you some answers today. Hopefully they will as I often think when I go on my own to appointments my doc/ MW tries to fob me off with carp, and when I talk someone with me they seem to take sense!

Thanks for that Redmel; Think I will see how things go the prob at the mo is I need my wage to pay the rent (and all the other bills), if I go on leave now it wont get paid, was kinda hoping to pay the next 2 and then worry about how to pay the rest. Do feel like I am no use here though, am typing work from last week that normally takes 10 minutes and this is my third day working on it, kinda going through the mad pregnant woman cleaning craze so I just want to go home and clean, would make me feel better!

Hope you get some answers CAFC and feel better.

KitKat have you been to the docs re your heartburn, as I was suffering badly with indigestion and was fobbed off by the first doc but the second gave me a proper examination and some ranitidine which has helped a lot rather than just gaviscon which only eased it for 10 minutes. Can you go back to your boss re the issues as seems unfair for you have to go up and down the stairs all the time.

MSD hope baby makes an appearance soon!!

Rach enjoy your day off, pity the weather is so carp but not hot at least.

((hugs)) to 1more - our DH's seem not to help sometimes!

Have got my 25 week (gulp already where does the time fly) docs appointment this afternoon, not sure what to expect but need to put another order in for my indigestion remedies.

Do your company not pay ML? I got 90% of wages for so many weeks before it dropped to 40% of wage or smp (whichever was greater)....Also, although I don't know what your situation is, you may be entitled to some help through housing benefit, at least the rent would be paid and you can worry about the bills later lol x

I went to the docs few weeks ago about heartburn, he just gives me gaviscon. I do find it helps but as you said it isn't long lasting, might put a note into him about ranitidine, dont really wana book an appointment as there is a wait of about 2-3 weeks but sometimes if I put a note in he just gives me a prescription.

With the stairs at work theres not a lot I can do, there is a lift but it always breaks down and I have a phobia of lifts from being stuck in one years ago, so theres nothing I can do. The manager did mention weeks ago about me working from home which might be an idea, but at the moment we are so short staffed I am needed in the office :( bloody annoys me as I know the people off sick are just skiving and have been for months!

I will get SMP, 6 weeks @ 90% and then the rest at £120 per week or whatever it is! I do get taxed on it though! (which i find ridiculous!) hoping OH is going to look into benefits this week as I am really panicking now, my SMP wont even pay the rent! Looked through some of the books the MW gave me at the weekend and I am better off quiting my job when the baby is born and living off benefits, I actually will earn more that way! Its ridiculous! No wonder people dont want to work! Have to admit I cant imagine not working, although at the moment I am ready for a break but I am sure I will want to come back after some time off!! :rotfl:
