Aw CAFC, hope things sort themselves out, the last few weeks is hell anyway without added extra's. It will all be over before you know it and then you will be getting baby cuddles with your little man. Your in the final stretch, it is near impossible to imagine a time when you won't be PG anymore but I promise you it will happen :D

Budget- I crave halloumi constantly too, in a wrap with salad nom nom nom!!!

I think I said before I have been craving smells really BAD!! I am loving the garden shed smell of oil, cut grass and mustiness, the wet pavement smell, cut grass, the hot car smell, tar, coal, pears soap and lot's of other things too. When I smell them I have to stop and sniff for ages I must look a right weirdo, I also have to regularly visit my aunt to go in her garden shed :D
  • Just posted this on the less than 12 month thread - but he could well have meant you guys!

Hello everyone, I just wanted to tell you guys that you have bee mentioned in a really good pregnancy book for men I'm reading at the mo - http://!!!!!!/rkppu

Pg 118 in the secion on financing a new baby, there you are, "a massive forum thread dedicated to saving parents cash".

Thought I'd pass on the recognition to you all - I'll certainly be picking all your brains on here as a result.

    (((hugs))) CAFC

I went through the same with DS in the last weeks... but had to stay in hospital all that time and it was crap:(

I know people say it all the time (and it gets a bit annoying;)) but little bubs will be with you very soon and you'll be having lots of baby cuddles:)

As DH said earlier... Mother Nature is a bitch making us go through what we do to get a baby!! He reckons we should just be able to lay eggs:rotfl:

Big hugs to CAFC - hope you feel better xx

Re hen dos I avoided one at about 20 weeks too as was an hour an half away (driving) and didn't feel like doing that on my own just for a meal really. I'm sure they will understand, if they are funny like Suzy said earlier think about how good a friend are they??

Absolutely shattered from shopping bought so more clothes for bubs and DH is not happy, don't they understand that a small bubs does need things. So far I have:

One pack of bodysuits newborn (7 pack)
One pack of bodysuits 0 to 3 months (7 pack)
Two sets of sleepsuits newborn (5 pack)
Two sets of sleepsuits 0 to 3 months (3 pack)
Two sleeping bags (one was only £2.50 in primark!)
Bought today two sets from mothercare with a cardigan, body suit and trousers, plus a fleecy type cardigan (new born) - as in sale
    Scratch mittens
    3 bibs

Don't think will be buying much more, may get some socks and a hat but think is enough for the mo - do you think I have overbought as could still take a lot of it back?? Or is there anything I should really be getting?

I personally don't buy newborn, I did for (10lb 2oz) DD1 and it was a waste of time and money, you couldn't get her in it at all!

Twins were a bit different I knew they would be small as I was due to be induced at 35 weeks.

I'd suggest changing the newborn for 0-3 unless you have had other small (under 7lb) babies or have reason to believe little monster will be early or small!

Imo it's better that it's a bit flappy than he only gets to wear it once!

was just looking for a bit of advice- seen this pram in TJ Hughes but a worried that it would make ppl assume that i've had a boy..
