Morning all,
I agree on getting 0-3 month clothes although I had to go out and buy with my last one as she was 14 days late and weighed 6lb 7oz everything swamped her. It wasnt a big deal going and getting some clothes as its actually nice to get out and buy some.
You think that you're going to be in all the time with the new baby and you buy everything like its going out of fashion but it'll still be on the shelves. I was out shopping at the supermarket the next day after having DD. ( well actually 4 hours after giving birth but Mr T shuts early on a Sunday we forgot!) lol
I think pregnant women just like to buy things in general for their baby whatever the item is.
What a sunny day ..although windy..hope it stays this way today and gets even brighter. I've got two loads on the line already and want to do more.

hi all
will read through and catch up later. Had a mixed weekend here. DH has been grumpy and rude at times - he doesn't like having people around and really needs his own space BUT I haven't seen my parents since new year and don't think its too much to have them around. kitkat - maybe there's something in the water and our dhs need their heads banging together.
He started the whole 'this baby is going to ruin my life' thing last night, which is so upsetting but I think is just an expression of worries.
right, i need to shower and get dressed. went through all the baby clothes yesterday and mum had bought quite a few new bits - just plain white sleepsuits and vests mainly. think we just need one more pack of long sleeved vests 0-3 m and we'll be fine as i think we'll end up with a fair few presents!Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
Rach - You're right and its natural for him to worry. It's life changing to have a baby. At least he's telling you how he feels. He'll find that the baby is the best thing to happen to him when its born.0

Morning all, hope your all well at least it's stopped raining!
Rach: glad it's not just my OH, he got up about 7pm after his afternoon nap and just watched telly, never helped me sorting stuff! I woke up at 4am this morning to find him playing a game on his iPhone so I hope he isn't expecting on spending all day in bed! I need him to load my car (my back is too painful to attempt it)
re: newborn sizes: I have got some, think one thing is new but all other bits I have are from bootsales for 20p each, if this baby is a fatty I'm not too bothered for what I've spent. I'm expecting a 7/8 pound baby, newborn size should be fine to take to hosp? Sure most labels say 'upto 10lbs' ??
Must go get dressed and put the washing out before it rains!0 -
Morning all
CAFC - I hope you're feeling better and bubs arrives soon
Congrats to baby Jacob:D:D:D
I have also bought a fair bit in newborn - most of them do say up to 10lbs and I remember with DD2 that they all seemed to last way past 'what they said on the tin' - having said that though, she always was the last chicken in the shop and was a poor 'grower' for the first 12 months!!!!
Baby brain wont let me remember anything else so hugs to all, labour vibes to those who need them and sorry if I forgot anyone!!:heartpuls baby no3 due 16th November :heartpulsTEAM YELLOWDFD 16/6/10"Shut your gob!:mad::mad:
Just been shopping at Morrisons at a stupid woman wasn't watching where she was going. Firstly DH had to jump out of the way and then a few mins later she walked right into me and bump!!! she said sorry but then the cheeky cow said to her OH "don't know what it was I supposed of done":mad:
I've got a few bits in newborn but won't be getting any more now I know he/she is probably gonna be a bigun!! BUT I'm still pretty sure he's gonna be early so might need smaller things. That's the one of the joys of pregnancy... you just don't know what size bubs is going to be!!;):p
Hope everyone is feeling ok today xBLOWINGBUBBLES:kisses2: SMARTIE120 -
